Good!!!

Pretty much a normal IHG stay The breakfast area was cleaner than in any other Holiday Inn Express we've been to. Kudos to the staff! However, in our room (516) the dead bolt would not latch, and then, coming back after breakfast, the door would not open until about the 10th try though we kept getting the green light and could hear the click of unlatching. It would be nice if the front desk had a list of area restaurants. Other than that, everything was just fine.

Wonderful, clean, spacous room with all the amenities. We were well received at check in and had many dining options across the street. Breakfast aas good, but would have prederred hard boiled eggs instead of powered mixed scrambled eggs.

My room smelled like sewage periodically. I think it would waft up out of the floor drain in the bathroom. Other than that, it was great. The kids loved the waterslide

Good location near chain restaurants and highway 401. Easy to get to, parking, and quick access to a variety of food options. Hotel itself is what you would expect for Holiday Inn Express: pretty clean, reasonably good breakfast and coffee, friendly staff. The pool situation, however, is atrocious. Absolutely tiny, even for little kids. Despite not being mentioned on ******* listing or the hotel website, kids have to be 48" tall to ride the waterslide. No mention of this until you get into the pool area! When the waterslide is on, basically the entire pool gets dedicated to that, rendering the remainder effectively useless. If pool is an important factor in your decision making of where to stay, pick a different hotel!
