野雞旅館 - 賓館集團(The Pheasant Inn - the Inn Collection Group)

Fantastic little Inn. Stayed for one night between Lake District activities at honister and buttermere. Around a 30 minute drive from both. Across the road from bassenthwaite lake which was perfect to cool down in after an active day. We stayed in room 25 which was delightful! Perfect for a family of four. Lovely little communal garden with a picnic bench. Easy parking. Staff lovely, and food was great! Will definitely return!

我們認為房間很乾淨，標準很高，床上用品很好，淋浴也很有效。 喜歡有狗在身邊，它們​​表現得很好，增加了友善度。 工作人員非常有效率且熱衷於取悅客人。會再次入住，美麗的花園和精心維護的場地。

非常安靜、舒適的旅館。雖然位於湖區的偏遠地區，但很容易找到並且可以輕鬆到達其他景點。一定要嚐嚐餐廳的晚餐，味道非常好，價格也很合理。只有我房間裡的毛巾架壞了，這是一個小問題。此外，早餐中的所有東西似乎都煮過頭了。

A beautiful old Inn with a lovley snug bar and restaurant. The evening meal we had was fantastic and the breakfast the same. The room was fine, albeit very small despite booking a "superior" room which I don't believe we got. However the noise levels were terrible. Our room was close to the kitchen so the extraction ducts and chefs radio carried on until gone 10.30pm which resumed promptly at 6.30am the next morning. The chef did turn the radio down after we complained for a second time, during which the bar staff gave us her sympathy as she on occassion "had" to stay in that room when nothing else was available so understood how we felt!! I wouldn't stay there again without a guarantee of different room in another part of the building.

A beautiful location and we were really looking forward to our stay based on a friend's recommendation however it looks like new owners have changed its character and quality completely. There is nowhere comfortable for residents to relax - our room only had 1 'dining chair' for a double room and all the public areas were for dining and not for relaxing. We were also disappointed by the food having been told it was very good in reality dinner was distinctly average and quite expensive. The smoked salmon was nice but the crab bonbons in our starter had no taste of crab and were undercooked and the truffle mash in my main did not taste of truffle and was very 'solid'. Breakfast was no better - nice choice including eggs benedict - with cheep plastic packet of jams and mass produced sliced bread for the toast. Tea was made yourself from an urn of water that was not hot enough to make a decent cup of tea. My wife's eggs benedict had no flavour and the 2 egg whites were uncooked. Have had much better at a Wetherspoons pub at half the Pheasant's menu cost. We were in a newly refurbished bedroom and the bathroom was only heated by the towel rail which never got above tepid even though we put the valve on max. The staff however were very friendly and helpful.

It was a very nice hotel but the room I had was very small and there wasn't a decent sized mirror so I could check my outfit before I left the room. Also as all meals had to be ordered at the bar this sometimes delayed service if staff were occupied elsewhere. I'm sorry but as a single visitor I didn't feel included. However the food was good.
