Service oriented hotel with friendly staff and ski in ski out options to the highest mountain in Nagano (also has a ski/snowboard school with kind boss)
Breakfast and Dinner options were plentiful and varied spread which is a better option for room with meals options as there isn’t much open by 5pm in the vicinity.
Self drove up and takes 30min to navigate the road whilst bus would prob take an hour or so. Nearest free shuttle stop is 2min walk from hotel (Hotaru Onsen)
Would highly recommend to friends to return for snow holidays (mostly Japanese and only a handful of tourists) but there’s a friendly English speaking staff
