My friends and i took two premium valley view rooms during the diwali long weekend (31st to 2nd nov’ 24. We paid heavy premium rates given the long weekend, which was 100% more than the usual rates. Still, accepting the fact that we were late to booking properties, we were okay with this cost. Pros: great hill / valley views, spacious rooms, fairly-good service. Cons: 1) below average food. On both days, our dosas weren’t properly cooked, even after intimating the staff. For the price tags, everything tasted off - too much masala, too much salt or just not taste at all. There was a guy who’d check on the stay with us daily and the second day when i said the food is bad and after listening to my stories, he just shared a qr code for google reviews and said, “please put your good reviews, sir”. On the matter of rooms, we had a 1 year old, and had to get the room cleaned again at the time of arrival as the floors were dusty and the bedsheets had to be changed due to being stained. Kitchens would close early (9. 30pm, so did breakfast. No heated pool, in a hill station resort. We ended up getting lunch from ‘the story’ resort and ‘grand palace’ which had slightly better food but due the long weekend rush, all hotels seemed to struggle to serve customers - either forgetting orders or taking 45 mins for preparation of items. Bottom line, mango hill is a 3 star resort that seems to be striving to dive to a 2 star status with poor infrastructure, average food and below average hospitality.

Water heater was is a problem. The hotel staff tried to fix it, but did not help. However, the view from the room was exceptional. The hotel staff made some arrangements for us to take bath in a different room. That was an awful experience.

rating: 2.5/5 i recently stayed at mango hill yercaud for 2 nights. overall, it was a decent experience, though there were some aspects that could use improvement. not worth for the money i payed for stay. positives: • the location was convenient to reach with good hill view. • the staff were generally polite and helpful when approached. • the room was clean and had the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. areas for improvement: • the service was a very very slow, especially in the restaurant (had to wait for 50mins for just soda) and also they have very limited options for food. the menu remains unchanged throughout. another funny aspect is they have digital menu and wifi doesn’t work in restaurant and also you will have limited connectivity of your network in that area. • lssues with facilities like: wi-fi was not available properly in room and also in restaurant. so you are stuck duck without any activities around and you will also have limited connectivity of network. tv: they expect you to watch only tamil channels and only few news channels were provided. when checked with management whether they can recharge - their slogan was simple be a local when your in local. in conclusion, while the stay wasn’t exceptional, it met basic expectations. with a few tweaks, it could be a more enjoyable experience.

Rooms were not clean. Bathroom was smelly. Fungous patches all over the room. Intercom between room don’t work. If you keep food plate and bowls outside, in the night stray dogs comes and eat them. They are not afraid of humans. You don’t get bath towels replaced. Food is ok

Staff are not so good and responses from them are very worst. Since v booked, they were not responsive to our needs. V had booked d executive suite room and due to heavy rain at that time, there was water leakage inside the room and also at the restaurant. No one attended regarding that also. V never had such an experience while booking a suite room. Climate, scenary and location are d only things v had enjoyed abut the stay. Roads are not so good to move in to this place. Very costly one and not worth a value to stay here.

Nice location with a view from the room. Rooms are not great and would need good facelift bathrooms stink a bit. Food is below averages, breakfast is minimal. Excellent staff, well behaved and helping. Location is good. Drive upto the hotel is very nice.
