Everything was great but pool closed do to COVID but we understand

I made my reservation three weeks prior to my trip. Couple of days before my trip I received a call from the hotel that they don't have a room available for me to stay and they are transferring me to their sister hotel "Courtyard" or I could cancel my reservation. Due to the last minute notice, the rates of hotels had gone up since three weeks earlier. I had no choice than staying at courtyard with less accomodations. I had booked for two weeks business trip which having a little kitchenette was important. Courtyard doesn't have that and it is not designed for long term stay. Consequently, eating out every day cost me much more. Interesting enough, never got any apologies nor a voucher. They all acted as it was totally not a big deal. I travel for business very often and had never experienced anything like that.

I wish they would have let me know they were renovating the property it was super noisy! Also i had to get moved twice because the people above us were stomping all night and then the next room the ceiling fell apart so i had to get moved again! It’s unfortunate because I love residence inn but I wish they would have given me a discount for all the inconvenience and hopefully this place will be better once the renovations are complete

The rooms could be updated. I was put in a room which I didn't like but had to be relocated the next day because the hotel was sold out. The first room had a dented fridge door, scratched furniture in the living room, and tape on the headboard, which was wierd. The second room was in better shape, but the fridge was also dented. However, both rooms were immaculately clean, as was the public areas. The public areas were updated and modern. There were lots of seating areas for breakfast. The breakfast was good and had a variety options, although they really need a third person to keep up with bringing more plates, refilling the coffee carafes, bringing food out. One day the juice machine was out of order. The next day there was something wrong with the water pipes so the coffee could not be filled until that was fixed. Despite all of this, the best thing about this hotel was the fantastic staff--from the front desk to the housekeeping department to the breakfast staff. They had great attitudes, were very friendly, and did all they could to meet our needs. The customer service was top-notch.

Very convenient. I was able to prepare a meal in my room. Housekeeping staff very polite and friendly I like that. very clean and fresh smelling.

This was my home away from home for a couple weeks and I enjoyed my stay. The breakfasts were great and the staff did a great job getting my room cleaned whenever I requested it and had my dog out.

Breakfast was OK. Clean beds etc. However, we did find a roach and centipeded in the bathroom. Strange for a newly renovated hotel.
