Unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Chez Yacob. Wohnen wie in einem Museum: Eine der ältesten bewohnten Kasbahs überhaupt. Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Kleinere Unbequemlichkeiten wie eine etwas schwache Klimaanlage nimmt man da gerne in Kauf. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abendessen und Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse - mit Blick auf den Palmengarten - waren lecker und reichhaltig.

L'arrivée à la kasbah nous fait rêver. L'accueil est aimable mais sans plus.. beaucoup de marches pour accéder à la chambre dans une pénombre dommageable..Quant à la chambre, la décoration est sympa mais la télécommande du climatiseur ne fonctionne pas et il manque une ampoule au plafonnier. Quant aux sanitaires des progrès sont à faire. Petit déjeuner sur la terrasse très agréable..

Bedbugs infested rooms, husband had over 100 bites. He had to take medicine later to manage the itchiness.. They blamed it on mosquitoes when telling them about it and will probably do again here. It is NOT mosquitoes, but clearly bedbugs. Please avoid if you don’t want to end up taking them with you through suitcases/ clothes that were in those rooms. It is an absolute NIGHTMARE to get rid of them still months after our trip!!?? I wish we had never gone there, and I truly hope - but considering they’re reaction, I don’t believe that - that they will do a professional treatment to eradicate the infestation!

I have known for a long time about this place but only now did I get to this beautiful oasis and found Chez Jacob but first I thought of going to another hotel that I heard about. It was a really nice place, a really old kasbah that the hotel was in. The room was nice and reasonable, the bed wonderful. From the terrace there were beautiful views of the oasis and mountains opposite. On the terrace there was a tent where I sat a little later in the evening, it was really comfortable there. The food was delicious, service too and so was the breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone intending to go to this village.
