馬西安花園酒店(Marcian Garden Hotel)

When we checked in, we found a plastic bag with Lanzones fruit peels in the shoe rack. Despite staying in the Executive Suites, there was no drinking water or toothpaste provided. We had to call reception to request them. On the other hand, the staff were very hospitable and attentive to our requests. I hope next time they will prepare the room and clean it properly!

Expensive hotel but not value for money. Staff very noisy all night playing music and chatting loudly especially at the back stairs. Seems like its currently staffed with new young staff looking to have fun rather than worry about if the guests get any sleep. Nice rooms and good bed but be careful when booking as many have No windows. Hopefully management can get the staff to be more respectful, Zamboanga is a beautiful place and needs good hotels for tourists to stay at.

I would give it a 2 horrible customers service , especially the waiters unprofessional , but mostly the only female waitress in the Hermosa Jardin restaurant she was soo loud when speaking to her co worker n laughing so loud that her laughter eco throughout the restaurant. Worst of all no supervisors no manager on duty . We ourself had to tell her to calm down because we could not hear our own conversation that is how loud this lady was .this happen in March 15,2022 at 630pm .front desk yes they were respectful n professional n the door men . As u see the picture Wall paper coming off the wall this place need more maintenance,shower head moldy , the bath towels look like there 100 years old just plain over use n old . My advice guys just find another hotel to stay don’t waste your hard earn money . god bless stay safe

We picked this hotel because it is the highest rated hotel in Zamboanga City in TripAdvisor and there were no horrible comments. That’s really not a compliment for the city. The highest rated hotel in Zamboanga is, sadly, average to below average. It was not a bad experience, but it was not impressive. What’s good is that the hotel runs like a real one. People are polite and accommodating, the room we were given was clean, the sheets while not new-looking were clean and clean-smelling. However, it’s dated and it just has to pay attention to things that travellers like my family will see very negatively, like holes and stains on the curtains, stains on the carpet, the need to re-grout the bathroom, etc. Breakfast was average, if not lacking. In my experience, the addition of breakfast longganisa and arroz caldo could up the breakfast experience significantly. If this amazing city wants more tourists from Manila and even other countries, it has to have a hotel that gives an excellent experience. With the kind of good service it gives, this hotel can be an excellent one. Good luck and I hope the hotel takes this review as a positive challenge.
