Heitzmann is een fantastisch hotel met prachtige kamers. Het personeel is zeer professioneel en vriendelijk en het vier gangenmenu is dagelijks een feestje. Keuze uit vlees, vis of vegetarisch. Alles is mogelijk. Dit hotel is een echte aanrader.

Mooie hotelkamer die wel erg warm is. Er stond een ventilator maar dat deed niet genoeg. De kamer word iedere dag schoongemaakt wat niet persee nodig is. Ook de handdoeken die ik op had gehangen voor een 2e keer gebruik werden toch vervangen. Heel netjes maar niet nodig. Het hotel heeft een mooie rooftop. Voor vroege naar huis vertrekkers is er helaas geen ontbijtpakketje to go. Er werd de avond voor het uitchecken gezegd dat we 45 min eerder gebruik konden maken van het ontbijtbuffet maar dan wel alleen de koude dingen. Maar helaas was het ontbijt om 6:45 nog niet klaar en werd er een beetje kribbig gereageerd door het personeel in de ontbijtzaal. Zonde, het hotel is niet goedkoop dus hier had ik wel iets meer van verwacht.

Super Gelegenes Hotel , super Frühstück , super sauber und super Lage.. von hier aus is man zu fus direkt in 3 min am See und 2 min zu City. Sehr empfehlenswerte Restaurant 3 min Fußweg : Kraftbar Vineria Torre Super Leute super essen … Wir kommen wieder ;)

Da wir auf der Durchreise waren, haben wir für eine Nacht ein Dreibett-Zimmer gebucht. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und bieten viel Platz. Das Personal sowie der Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Lovely hotel and polite staff but crystal ski should be clearer when using it. Advertise roof top bar but closed in winter. Say bus outside but 10 min walk in ski boots carrying skis. Boot room has boot heaters but is wholly inadequate for size. Sometimes could not find anywhere to put boots or skis. Plus one tiny bench for 2 to get yourself booted. Hotel not suitable for ski hotel. Only 3 tiny hooks in rooms. Worst of all the coach cannot get to hotel so you are forced to carry all your luggage plus skis and boots from coach terminal to hotel when you arrive and again when depart. All other hotels sent minibus to collect passengers. They could easily have done so.

We stayed on a half board basis. The food was plentiful. Nice buffet breakfast spread. With cooked to order eggs option The half board option we added to our booking and was well worth it . Five courses each night we didn’t go hungry. Close to the bus station for getting the ski bus to Kaprun and Saalbach . Just check the bus timetable only one bus an hour to Saalbach. Rooftop bar not open in the winter. Comfortable rooms with Kettles and a fridge. The Two Timez hotel next door was also booked by our party and just as comfortable but the Gin bar out the front could get noisy. Take the half board option at both hotels if offered it’s well worth it

What a fantastic time we’ve had. Such a warm welcome with really friendly staff. The room is very well equipped, with en-suite facilities, two sinks & a jacuzzi! There’s a free spa downstairs, & a welcoming bar. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay. I’m sure when we return to this fantastic resort.

We booked a specific room at Hotel Heitzmann for a relaxing break in Zell Am See, an area new to us although we have visited Austria often. We were sceptical right from the start as the hotel is on a really busy main road and just feels dirty. The reception is not welcoming at all. We were provided with the keys to Room 100. This is reached via a shabby unwelcoming hallway with random picture hung randomly and at all angles. No modern keycard entry to the room, just a key which felt strange. On entry, we were horrified as this was not only not the room we had booked, but I would suggest it is the most basic room in the whole hotel if not Zell Am See. There is a balcony which is above the hotel entrance and right next to the busy road. The noise in this room is horrific! There are traffic lights a few metres away and the room is totally filled with the noise from revving engines and cars blasting horns because the lights have changed. It feels as if the cars/lorries/buses/motorbikes/tractors are literally in the room. The noise and the fumes which you could taste were a total nightmare. The room itself consisted of a bed with the thinest 1 pillow each imaginable and 1 random, thin red cushion each (I was forced to stay for one night and I had to put the bath robe under both). The bathroom had a cracked floor tile and the soap had run out. There was no attempt at decorating the room. Our welcome pack consisted of 2 Earl Grey teabags, 2 coffee sachets and 2 UHT milk portions. Wow - thanks! Breakfast was chaotic, with too many tables squeezed into the breakfast area which was too small. The staff were rushed off their feet and the whole experience was stressful. The food was unappealing although I did have a yoghurt pot which was nice. The breakfast problem was exacerbated by a lack of seating arrangements. This resulted in Arab men choosing to occupy tables to themselves while they scrolled through their phones. Their families were at different tables. We managed to find perhaps the last table and stayed in the room as little time as it took to eat my yoghurt. The rooftop bar is shabby and feels dirty, not at all a place you would want to spend any time. We did see other rooms in the hotel and they looked like the ones in the photo's but ours most definitely did not. The hotel told us that you can never open the windows in these rooms at night because of the road noise. We complained and were moved on Day 2 to a different hotel by our tour operator. If you are looking for a sleepless, soulless, chaotic hotel experience - this is the hotel for you. I give this hotel one star, only because there is not an option for zero star.

This hotel was perfect in every way. Perfect location to lifts and buses and near other restaurants and pubs. The food was amazing as being a vegetarian in Austria was not always a nice experience but the options were great and staff always did their best to accommodate us. The staff were so friendly and a special shout to Simone who was so helpful and always had a smile on her face. Would highly recommend this hotel and the only feedback I would have is there are not enough seats in the boot room.

We stayed in the Hotel Heitzmann at the end of January 2024 and could not fault it. Kind, friendly and flexible welcome. Superb food. Beautiful room. Perfectly placed in the town centre and close to the slopes. Fitted to a very high standard. Comfortable. Staff super-helpful. Everything very clean. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Just got back from a week at this hotel and it’s 1st class. We booked late and were worried that any hotel that still had vacancies would not be very good, but this one pleasantly surprised us. We had a mini suite, which is definitely worth the extra, as the room and bathroom were very spacial. The breakfasts were good, and as we were there over New Year we had a meal in the hotel on NYE which was very nice. We were B & B, but they do half board. We are vegetarians and the meals were very meat based, so it was better for us to dine out - lots of restaurants nearby, and the hotel is centrally located and only 5 mins walk from a ski lift. The rooms were very warm, but you can turn off the radiators, and open the window.

This hotel isn't cheap by any standards so I expected higher standards. Arrival impression isn't that great. Steps up to the small lobby and people smoking just outside the front door. Better to remove the ashtrays from the entrance and put a no smoking sign there. The corridor lights go off so it feels dingy. I know it is a power saving thing but at least before 9pm the corridor lights should stay on. The room is modern enough but the bathroom was lacking. There was a bathtub with no shower curtain. So anyone who showers would wet the bathroom floor. Need to add a shower screen of some sort. Ran out of shower gel half way through my shower, housekeeping needs to make sure they have replenished all the toiletries before handing over the room. Compared to the Grand Hotel it isn't that expensive but still it should be better.

The hotel was a nice location within easy walking distance to many local attractions. Even with the added business due to Ironman event, the staff were very friendly and very responsive. Great location, great staff, and excellent overall stay.
