What a fantastic few days’ we had at Tui Blue Adriatic Beach! As other reviewers have mentioned, the transfer from Split airport to the resort was around two hours, however the coach was modern and comfortable – with aircon – and the drive was so scenic along the Croatian coastline that it didn’t bother us at all, and time went pretty quickly. Once we arrived at the resort, we were informed our room was ready a little earlier than expected, which was great, and what a room we had! We were kindly upgraded to a Superior Sea View Room (Azul, 2107) and it was contemporary and spacious, the highlight being the breathtaking view over the pool and sea! We spent many evenings watching incredible sunsets from the balcony. The room was cleverly designed so that the bed faced the view, which was lovely to wake up to. As others have noted, the resort is built on a hill, and although there are a number of lifts available, there are lots of steps to go up and down to get to and from the pool and beach – we were fine with this, but this may prove difficult for some with mobility challenges. There was a wide choice of food available in the main buffet style restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. From local dishes to international favourites, there was always something new and tempting plus lots of fresh fruit, salads, vegetables and live cooking stations too. We were pleasantly surprised by the offering. Drinks wise, my husband mainly had the draught beer, which he enjoyed, and I stuck to the cocktails. I was a little worried beforehand that most of the cocktails would be chargeable, however a good number were included – the Pina Colada’s went down a treat after a day on the beach. We dined one night in the Culinarium, which made a nice treat. In terms of entertainment, it wasn’t a busy schedule, however we appreciated the live music which was on most nights we stayed, my husband really enjoyed the ****** night as well. This holiday was very much one for us to relax, so we spent most days on the beach (make sure you bring shoes for the beach – it’s pebbly), swimming in the sea or relaxing by the pool, however also made use of the gym, sauna, steam room and games room too. The resort is located in a very quiet area, however for those that want to explore a bit more, the next village is a 5-minute stroll away, and Igrane (a small town) is about 30 – 40 minutes’ walk. One of the big standouts of this hotel (as well as its spectacular location), was the friendly, helpful staff. Everyone we met was lovely, from the F&B team to housekeepers, and seemed to really enjoy chatting and joking with guests. We came back from our holiday feeling completely relaxed and are already looking forward to our next trip back to Croatia! Thank you Adriatic Beach!
