Very nice stuf , very clean rooms , in the heart of zurich .you can walk everywhere from hotel. The otel is decorated good small but very clean

The experience was one of the worst ever shouldn't have such hotel in modern city in europe

Het hotel heeft geen receptie. Het lijkt meer een air B&B. Maar er is geen restaurant. In de bar van het hotel is overdag soms iemand van het personeel aanwezig. Heel vaak is de bar echter gesloten. De kamer is uitermate klein en sober ingericht. Om toiletpapier moet je vragen. Dat wordt niet automatisch aangevuld. Ook om handdoeken moet je vragen. En ook al plaats je aan de buitenzijde van de deur het bordje "Please make up room" dan moet je om 18:00 uur nog vragen om het schoonmaken van de kamer. Verder is het personeel uiterst onvriendelijk en ongastvrij. Alles bij elkaar een flinke afknapper en echte afrader.

This has to be the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life! Right from the very beginning I should have known what lied ahead. There is no reception desk. Check in is at the bar. There is no information posted anywhere and if you check in at a normal hour chances are you will find no one there to help. The lady who runs the place is nowhere to be found and guests are left to fend for themselves. We were there for 4 nights and not once did our room get cleaned. We ran out of toilet paper and clean towels and had to chase down the cleaning lady to get more. The room was a dirty mess from the minute we walked in. Dirty coffee cups, wrappers, and spoons from the previous occupants and we only got 1 towel apiece. The bed is right up by the bathroom door so if you’re standing next to the bed and someone walks out of the bathroom, you will get hit by the door every time. The elevator didn’t work properly and made a horrible noise until we were too afraid to use it anymore; sure enough, it stopped working. The cleaning lady was left to check people in since the owner sleeps in and doesn’t show up until late in the afternoon. Problem is, cleaning lady only speaks Spanish. We had to help her communicate with 3 separate couples who couldn’t understand her. They don’t have maps to help you get around the city and there is no one to ask. In a nutshell…DON’T stay at this hotel!!!! I cannot emphasize it enough! Pictures are deceiving.

Very unprofessional reception. Staff knocked on several doors on several floors together with to find an empty room. They did not know dhivh rooms were rented out. Dirty laundry was all spread on the hallway. When we finally found a room I was told I have to wait one hour to get the key. Elevator is tiny and cannot hold 2 people and a small suitcase at the same time. Room was not clean. There was a half full coke bottle in the Tiny fridge. The toilet was tiny. The room very small. This is at best a 2 star hotel. Lacks proper reception. Breakfast was mit included in the price and you would not want to have it there anyway. I left immediately. You don't ever want to stay in this hotel.

I was pleased with my stay at Hechplatz Hotel on a recent business trip to Zurich. It's not far from the Central Station which was good as I was travelling by train. I chose to walk as I had one bag only to carry, but it would be a short taxi or uber ride. Tram line is only 2 mins walk. Hotel was clean and staff that I dealt with were always friendly. Location is convenient with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops in easy walking distance. A walk to the river or lake is 10 minutes or less.

Liked · Everything was great. The hotel is in the center, 5 minutes from the train station, close to restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel is new, has fast wifi, hot water, elevator, comfortable bed and a bar with live music. The attention was the best, Linda and Anita helped us a lot, we were able to check in before the time, we were able to check out after the time. We had a problem with the Swiss telephone company, since we did not know German we could not communicate with customer service,

After leaving a decent review on *********** the owner harassed me via text on my personal telephone number. I mentioned that the hotel was very central and clean, but that there was no one there to check in at 4pm and that the first 2 rooms I was given the key to already had someone in them. The next morning at 9:45 someone came in my room while I was getting out of the shower. At the time I left the hotel I had an ok opinion of it with some caveats but since getting barraged by harassing messages by the owner following my review it’s a hard no.
