Now the scenery of Xuanwu Lake is truly next level beautiful Metasequoia, sunset, lonely tree Every spot is heartwarming 👀 Sharing with everyone my favorite Xuanwu Lake city walk route Xuanwumen - Huanzhou - Pioneer Bookstore - Fangqiao - Lovers' Garden - Ten-Mile Long Dyke - Sunshine Pier (This route is quite comprehensive, you can basically see it all! When tired, just find a chair to sit and watch the lake surface, it’s healing) Some of my favorite check-in spots: Wumiao Lock: Keep walking until you see two big trees, a great spot for photos! Also called the Lonely Big Tree!! Fangqiao (Lonely Tree): Has benches, even a back shot looks great. Ten-Mile Long Dyke: The sunset here is really beautiful, the shimmering lake surface in the evening is very photogenic. Lovers' Garden: Cupid Square, Western-style church, pigeons Pioneer Bookstore (Yingzhou Branch): Floor-to-ceiling glass room perfect for photos Xuanwu Lake is so big you can sometimes spend a whole day exploring. Every time friends from out of town come, I recommend the Huamao Ascott Hotel Apartments, which is close and very convenient for transportation! From the hotel apartment, it’s just an 8-minute walk to the secret passage at the big tree root entrance of Xuanwu Lake, directly entering Houhu Yinyue! No crowds, and the style of Xuanwu Lake here is more unique. Hongshan Zoo is only 2 stops away! Staying here really feels as comfortable as home~ You can feel the attention to detail as soon as you get the wooden room card~ The room has kitchenware, a refrigerator, and my favorite washer-dryer combo, really convenient, plus a gym, lounge area, and book bar!
