We recently stayed at Mangia's Sardinia Resort for one week, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. When we arrived at around 3:30 pm, we were told our room was not yet ready, which we completely understood. The reception staff asked us to wait at the bar next to reception and said they would inform us as soon as the room was available. However, after waiting for two and a half hours without any update, we went back to reception ourselves, only to be told that our room had been ready for some time and they had simply forgotten to inform us. This was not a great start to our holiday. We also booked boat trips through the resort for Saturday and Sunday. We were asked to pay for the Sunday trip first because they weren't sure whether the Saturday trip would be available. We were told they would send us a message with an update, but we never received one. The day before, we had to go back to reception to ask again, only to find out that the reception and the boat excursion desk are managed separately, so the reception staff couldn't help us, and by then the excursion desk was already closed. Better communication between departments would have avoided this inconvenience. The resort has four restaurants, but three of them require advance reservations. By the time we arrived on our first day and tried to book, they were already fully booked for most of our stay. Since we were staying for seven nights, it was very disappointing that we were only able to dine at one of the specialty restaurants. Guests staying for a full week should have a better opportunity to experience the different dining options. Finally, we also had a disappointing experience at the Lime Bar. The kitchen officially closes at 5:30 pm, and we arrived at around 5:00 pm hoping to order burgers and sandwiches. We were told they could not accept any more orders because there were already too many in the queue, and they wanted to finish serving by 5:30 pm. It was frustrating to be turned away 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. Overall, while the resort itself is beautiful and has great potential, the organisation and communication between staff and departments need significant improvement. Unfortunately, these repeated issues affected our holiday, and for that reason I cannot say we were fully satisfied with our stay.

We spent a few days at Tanka Village as a family, and overall, it was a very good experience—especially for those traveling with young children. Arrival & Location: Check-in was quick and smooth, and we reached our room in no time. Our room was located in a hallway that served as a bit of a passage, which made it slightly noisy at times. However, the central location was very convenient—it was right near the main square (piazzetta) and just a short 10-minute walk to the beach. Family & Baby-Friendly Facilities: This resort is extremely baby-friendly. The “Biberoneria” service was a highlight—it had everything needed for babies aged 0 to 3, including free formula, diapers, snacks, and freshly prepared baby meals served three times a day. Parents can enter freely and get what they need, which was a huge plus for us. Food & Dining: The food at the Oasis restaurant was truly excellent. There was a great variety of fruits, vegetables, and desserts every day. We also appreciated the free wine and beer, and the overall quality and variety of the meals made dining a real pleasure. The all-inclusive formula worked really well for us. Beach & Activities: The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and plenty of activities throughout the day for both adults and kids. That said, sunbeds and umbrellas are not included and must be paid for separately, which feels a bit off for an all-inclusive resort. Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms themselves are a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Housekeeping came once a day, but the sand wasn’t always fully cleaned, and the overall standard was just okay. Small details like having to pay a €50 deposit for a proper hair dryer, or €2 to wash towels, and daily towel rentals for the beach, added some unnecessary hassle. Facilities: One disappointment was the gym, which closes during lunchtime—something that seems unnecessary and limiting in a resort setting. --- Overall: Despite a few service-related downsides, Tanka Village is in a fantastic location, offers excellent food, and is wonderfully equipped for families with young children. With some small improvements, especially on the facilities and service side, it could easily become an outstanding choice for a relaxing family vacation.

It is located in the Chia Laguna, one of the clusters of 4 and 5 stars of hotels. Beautifully managed landscapes and access to private beaches make this resort very attractive. However, it is for those who don't care about the quality of the hotel and for those who want to just sleep at night and take the most of the activities outside of the room. In terms of quality of the room, it requires lots of attention. You are most likely to enter your room through the sliding door, and then there is your bed, and there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet, bidet, and the sink. The bed is not comfortable, and there is a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom, we had to spray our perfume and close the bathroom door, and leave the bathroom windows open. Typically, the hotel bathroom is a joy to enter, but this bathroom was one of those bathrooms that wanted to get out as fast as possible, especially with sewage smell. I had to dry my hair outside of bathroom so the sewage smell doesn't get to my hair. (Enough said) On top of our not-so-impressed experience, our neighbor left the TV on loud and party in their room until 3am, we couldn't sleep at all. Contacted the front desk at 1am, but loud noise still continued. Thank God, we only had to stay 1 night. I would have looked for another hotel if we had to stay one more night. Hotel reservations came with 2 meals, breakfast, and a dinner buffet. It was one of the worst food experiences not only in Italy but also in all the places we have ever been. At a glance, the buffet seemed fine and attractive, but as soon as we started tasting the food, we felt right away, we cannot expect much. Most of the dishes were extremely salty, lacked flavors, and the quality of each ingredient was bad compared to the dishes that we experienced in Cagliari. If you only care about the location and the beautiful beach access, this is the place for you, but if you care about all the aspects of what the resort hotel supposed to offer, it might be wise to either spend a bit more money and stay at either Curio or Conrad properties or consider different location or hotels. This camping is located in beautiful settings in Porte del Porticciolo area, that is a part of a beautiful nature park. There is a almost private bay with a beach, with beautiful views over the old historical tower and evenings you can see a beautiful sunset front of you. Camping has a friedly helpful staff. Little cottage where we stayed is cute but very poorly sound Insulated, you can help absolutely everything from the room attached with my room even the talking was with normal tone. This camping would have a lot more potential, but its kind of feels dated and let down. Coffee place staff were helpful but food selection very poor. Sunday morning there was exactly 1 croissant, one cream Danish and something else available, nothing else. Also selection of ready packed toast. Sad offering to be honest. Camping has a super market that closes everyday between 13-17, that makes no sense in the camping area. Restaurant staff was very charming but pizza can only be eaten evenings, no for lunch, and house wine in caraf is only available evenings. Pizza selection was very limited and not the best flavour. Again, very bizarre. Swimming pool closes 7pm, still when its beautiful evening sun, that goes down 9pm. Evenings had live music that was actually quite enjoyable but otherwise this camping amenities are poor and give you a feeling that its rundown and only to made to make money and nothing else. If you want an air-conditioning in your cottage or room, be prepared to pay 40€ per day for this luxuries. So basically saying, I didn't totally disliked my stay but I wouldn't come back either. Thank you for a lovely staff members in the pool, restaurant, shop, coffee shop and beach bar, and check in person was also very nice

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet area. Everything is clean and pleasant, and the beach and the sea are absolutely wonderful. The natural surroundings are definitely one of the strongest points of this hotel. The rooms are clean, but the standard rooms are extremely small. There is hardly enough space even to put your suitcases somewhere. As far as we know, the hotel will soon close for renovation, which is probably a good idea. Overall, I would say that the hotel deserves its four-star rating. The service is good, as are breakfast and dinner, although sometimes the food presentation feels a little overcomplicated. What really disappointed us, however, were all the additional charges. For example, if you want bacon with your eggs at breakfast, you have to pay an extra €3. If you want three eggs instead of two, you have to pay another €1 for the additional egg. For a hotel in this price category, this feels unnecessary and is quite surprising. The same applies to the beach. Even though the hotel has its own beach, guests still have to pay for the sunbeds. We were told that two sunbeds cost around €50 per day. Considering that we paid more than €400 per night for the room, we found it very disappointing to be charged extra for so many basic things. At this price level, breakfast extras and sunbeds should simply be included. The location is fantastic, the beach is beautiful, the water is wonderful, and the hotel itself is clean and pleasant. Unfortunately, the constant additional charges significantly affected our overall experience.
