乐天的静Soho located at Bahia Marina is quite a good restaurant. Surrounded by the marina with a view to the Lacerda Elevator, iconic symbol of Salvador, the restaurant provides awesome Japanese food with a nice selection of sushis and sashimis prepared with fresh fish, good service and a wonderful deck with glass in the floor to see the seawater. 乐天的静I decided to go after reading the reviews. Took a taxi from the hotel since it''s not in the touristy part of the city but in a working class/commercial neighborhood. We speak Portuguese so I''m not sure if they speak English. The setting is simple. No air conditioning. We loved the food! Try their camarão na tapioca as an appetizer. It''s delicious. Their ;pimenta; aka hot sauce is also out of this world... but VERY hot. Be cautious. They also serve traditional caipirinhas that are amazing. My 2 year old boy tried shrimp for the first time. He ended up eating way too much shrimp moqueca.La Taperia

乐天的静We had dinner at Amado for a friend''s birthday. The food, service and ambiance were all exceptional. The staff were helpful and attentive, and the food and wine were excellent. The dining space was beautiful, as was the view, especially from the balcony overlooking the harbor. We had a wonderful meal here.Cuco Bistro

乐天的静I ate in this restaurant on weekday night. Even on weekday, it was full! The food is extremely good and the menu is extensive! The cocktails available are very very good! If you love spicy food, this is the right place! Negatives! 1. The waiters are not able to handle the full packed restaurant. The owners must hire more waiters! 2. The waiters are very sweet but they give preference to locals and give cold shoulder to foreigners! 3. There is no ambience. Too much noise! 4. Some food is extremely expensive but very large in quantity. I wish they could give all dishes in half portions and half price! However, I plan to return here every time i am in Salvador. 乐天的静My wife and I have already been twice to this restaurant this week. It is simply delicious. They are specialized in fish and they truly know what they are doing. Everything, from the starters through the main course to the desserts is well-prepared and well-composed. If I had to criticize something it would not be the food at all but the staff: some seem to get overwhelmed when the place gets very busy and start to become rough and unfriendly, which is not so typical for Brazilians. We highly recommend this place, which surely is one of the best restaurants in Salvador.Barbacoa
