TheForkUserVisited Durham for a super historical weekend. Didn’t dream we would eat in such an amazing restaurant too. The food would grace any Michelin starred table. Great taste and presentation throughout the 7 course tasting menu. (We added another to the 6 😋) wines and service exceptional too.
TheForkUserWe go there at least once every couple of months there always friendly always clean the servers on the food are really pleasant, it is always tasty food never had a visit where we were not happy
TheForkUserChanges noticed this week (different to last week) - the Yorkshire puddings have improved; the size of the meat portion has reduced and the gravy was lumpy. Overall the meal was good despite the former comments. Regrettably, the ambience was spoiled by some very noisy children but the service and staff were courteous and polite.
TheForkUserStaff were very friendly and service was good. Food was good but cauliflower could of been cooked a little more. I like it aldente but couldn't eat it as it was too hard., Otherwise rest of meal was beautiful.
TheForkUserVery busy today as there was a coupon offer .Thought the food would be hot as it was busy, but it was mostly just warm although tasty.Staff friendly and cheerful considering how busy it was .Still good value. Also picked up a take out carvery
TheForkUserthis is a lovely place to dine.... staff are attentive, welcoming and very polite. Food was delicious, special effort made by them for my granddaughter's birthday. Lovely afternoon, frequent this often.
TheForkUserSuch a fabulous restaurant..we have been many tines as a family of 5 and love it..The food is fresh hot and so tasty..The staff and the manager are so attentive..nothing is a bother..there is also a placement the Grainger Market..same owners...ohh food just talking about it I need to book up!
TheForkUserThe chef's table starter buffet was amazing, we would come again just for that. We were very impressed by the standard on the non-alcoholic cocktails. The Mojito was probably the best I've ever had. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We have a lovely Sunday Lunch.
TheForkUserThe food was piping hot & delicious & really well priced on a 2 or 3 course offer. The staff were lovely & helpful. It’s was a busy Sunday lunchtime but we didn’t feel squeezed in to the next table.
TheForkUserSunday lunch very tasty, lots of veg & gravy, love the mini desserts. Would only add that the dinners could’ve been a bit hotter. Husband would’ve liked more than 2 slices of Turkey for the price.
TheForkUserFirst visit but not my last. Chose this on the basis of good reviews and not disappointed. Friendly and efficient service, great food. I am wheat intolerant and staff were very attentive to this. Loved the web cam street scenes of Delhi, a brilliant and original touch.
TheForkUserLovely food , enjoyed all 3 courses, was a little chilly and service slightly running slow but won’t deter us from returning . Thoroughly enjoyed the meal .Fab place and location. It will be great here mid summer , already a lot sitting out in the big sun today .
_TI***l4Oasis is a lovely cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are usually well-mannered and efficient, making it a nice place to relax.
TheForkUserHave not been in a few months but the changes to the restaurant are really good more open and feels much bigger. The food and service as always was fabulous I will not be waiting as long to visit again.
_TI***2kThe pizza at this restaurant is light, thin, and crispy, making it a great choice. The mussels with spicy sauce were also a hit, and the fries were lovely and crispy. Plus, the 20% discount promotion for weekdays is a fantastic deal!
TheForkUserlovely food and great service. Only criticism would be the decor and toilet which are a bit incongruent with the quality and price of the good
TheForkUserWe are here in the second night of our stay , it was a relaxed atmosphere with great food. The staff were attentive and polite.
