The food and wine are absolutely fantastic but what makes this place special is the atmosphere and the staff. I can’t speak highly enough of this lovely restaurant, we will be back very soon.

The Quilon -

Continues to be exceptionalWith the departure of Mr Araki and the loss of the three stars, questions were raised as to whether the next chef could continue with the same perfection and quality of ingredients. Having been back it is obvious that the level has not changed and we were extremely impressed from start to end. The food is creative and extraordinary. Yes the atmosphere is more casual and different from what it was but it “works” and reflects, as it should, the personality of the new head chef. We loved it.

Fabulous pre lockdown dinner. Great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

The team at the Golden Hind are ace. With the new GM Jo, she managed to arrange for our team Plymouth Oarkway U10s to come in after their matches in a warm, safe and covid secure venue! They provided the boys with food while the adults enjoyed the respite and a few drinks. The hind has a new, warm and vibrant fell about it that hasn’t been there for years! Great pub
