The other starter again was small and various components of the offering didn't work.Both mains didn't have a lot of flavour. One in particular was small. One of the mains were commented on and it was obvious the waiting staff didn't like the answer. Then the bill suddenly arrived without asking for it.The whole meal wasn't value for money. Sadly this wasn't a restaurant we would visit again nor recommend.

Our waiter recommended a gin made by the chef which was so good we bought a bottle to bring home! He also recommended a deep cider to pair with the cheese which was perfect and a rum to go with our desserts. A really special dining experience! Would highly recommend!

We had not visited since before Covid so we were delighted to find that the quality of the dishes and attention to detail and presentation had been maintained. The staff are very welcoming and there is a pleasant interaction between customers and staff. A strong french influence to the dishes, often with a surprise twist. A great dining experience.
