Great for a quick bite. Food was fresh, tasted fantastic. Staff were kind and attentive. Got my order fast, perfect for a lunch break.

Parking right across the street was only a few quid for the whole evening. Made popping in for a spontaneous dinner so much easier.

Popped in for a quick dinner. The Gurkha Lamb was spot on, really flavourful. Portions are huge, had to get a takeaway box. Good for the price.

Sebastian remembered us and our dog from last time. That personal touch really stood out. He was attentive without being overbearing, and his recommendations were spot on. Made the whole evening feel a bit more special.

Loved the cosy village feel here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which really made the evening. Food was spot on too.

Staff were really helpful with my gluten-free needs, which I appreciate. They checked everything carefully to avoid cross-contamination. Felt looked after.

The quiz night is a blast, but honestly I’m here for the whisky. Their selection is solid, especially the peaty Islay options. Tried a Lagavulin 16 that was spot on. Good way to spend a Tuesday.

Love the vibe in this pub, feels cosy and lived-in. The old wooden beams and low lighting really make it. It's a nice spot to just sit with a pint of their craft ale.

Cosy spot with lots of character. Found a quiet nook perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff were friendly and suggested a lovely local red that paired beautifully with the charcuterie board. A bit on the pricey side for the portion, but the wine selection made up for it.

Been coming here for years. The fish is always fresh, batter's crisp and not greasy. Chips are fluffy inside, nice crunch. It's just good, honest fish and chips.

Stumbled in near the station. The tapas were spot on, especially the patatas bravas – crispy outside, fluffy inside. Solid Spanish wine list too. A nice find.

Proper local pub, lovely atmosphere. They have a good selection of ales and the staff are friendly. It's very dog-friendly too, which is a nice touch.

Had the chocolate & strawberry pot and pistachio brownie. Both were spot on. The cafe itself is quiet and comfortable, good for a quick coffee meeting.

The staff handled our big group of 23 so smoothly. It felt effortless, which is exactly what you need for a celebration. No stress, just a nice flow to the evening.

The ingredients tasted so fresh, especially in the salad. Portions were a bit small for me, but the quality was there.

The fish is so fresh, you can taste the quality. The new owners kept the same high standards, which is a relief. Really appreciate the focus on simple, clean ingredients. The welcome was warm, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a solid spot for a healthy meal.

The timber deck out back is such a lovely spot. Grabbed a drink and just sat there for ages on a sunny afternoon. Really peaceful.

The Sunday roast platter here is something else. My photo honestly doesn't capture how good it looks on the plate. The beef was spot on, and those giant Yorkshire puddings? So good. Probably the best I've had in Leicester.

Great spot for a Sunday roast. Quick service for a sit-down meal, and they sorted my mate's gluten-free plate no problem.

A cute little spot hidden in a courtyard. The staff were super friendly. I tried their lamb tagine and it was packed with flavour, really tender and the spices were spot on. The decor is a bit tired, but it didn't ruin a nice, relaxed evening.

Cosy spot, great for a relaxed dinner. The wine list had some nice options that really complemented the evening.

Love the quirky decor here, it's got this fun, kitschy vibe that just works. The Beyond Meat burger was actually really good - juicy and flavourful. Ordered everything over the phone, super easy.

The steak pie is rich and filling, and the fish and chips are light. Portions are generous, which is a big plus for me. I feel the price is justified by what you get on the plate.

Popped in for a bacon cob with a couple of mates. The ordering from your phone at the table was so easy, meant we could just chat without flagging anyone down. Cakes were a nice treat after. Good spot for a casual catch-up.

Nice spot for a drink. The decor is pleasant and they have plenty of screens showing the rugby, which was perfect for our visit. The service was fine, though our drinks took a little while to arrive.

The staff were really nice. They remembered to leave tomatoes off both my main and salad, which was thoughtful. Food was pretty good.

Lovely spot with a nice view. The food is decent pub grub, pretty wholesome. Service was friendly enough. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Love the vibe here. It's got that proper pub feel, warm and lived-in. The staff were just lovely, made us feel right at home.

I have been coming to The Packe Arms for years. The service, food and atmosphere is always top notch. This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven't got room for a full sized pudding. The new range of alcohol free drinks are also great. I had elderflower and mint.

The hanging kebab is the star here. Cooked just right, really juicy and packed with flavour. We ordered one to share and it was plenty. A solid choice.
