Recommended by a friend and she knew what she was talking about! Small cafe, hidden gem, but oh so good. Just a little cafe, nothing spectacular, it was warm in the day we went (but it was 90 degrees outside). The staff was friendly

Got there very early. Waiter was great and told us that we could only have the table for an hour, in order to accomodate the line out the door.

The service was wonderful and the food was pretty good. I wasn’t really disappointed with any of it, though the food was a tad greasy. Also, if you are looking for a light and bright place to eat, this isn’t it. The restaurant is very dark, even sitting by a window. I would definitely go back though. Parking sucks on 6th ave in general.

Katie Downs is one of our favorite lunch spots on Ruston Way, Tacoma. Great views. Warm, friendly service. Great food
