TheForkUserVery Nice food and staff!
TheForkUserOne of many restaurants along the front...similar menus, similar prices...we chose it because of the 50% offer from The Fork.Chose Oysters to start & the Sole Fish of The Day. Can't complain about anything. Great food and the (1!) waiter worked hard to serve us and was very pleasant.
TheForkUserThe food was excellent, very fresh products and beautiful plates. If you like fish, seafood and delicate flavored this is the place to go. It’s also kids’ friendly. I recommend this place. Don’t forget your jacket if you eat out in the evening as it can get a bit chilly in the evening ! I will definitely go again!
TheForkUserVery slow service. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water at the beginning of lunch, they brought it to us when we had already asked for the check. Some orders had to be repeated 3-5 times; you got the feeling that the staff was simply not listening to you. The child's ice cream stood ready on the kitchen counter for more than 10 minutes (we sat nearby and saw that the chef had already prepared desserts, and the waiters walked by many times and did not take them to the customers). The chef even had to renew the whipped cream on the desserts.
TheForkUserLovely courtyard setting for this restaurant located in a nice hotel. The food was excellent and the service attentive and kind. We had a train to catch and the staff made sure we’d make it. will definitely come back!
TheForkUserIt was in a beautiful setting at the winery. It would have been even better to sit facing the vineyard. But beautiful on the patio. Service was attentive and all in our party of 4 agreed the food was outstanding! And our wine too.
TheForkUserAs always the food here is delicious. My favourite choice is the vegetarian thali. I ask for medium spice level. The owner and his staff are lovely too.
TheForkUserVery nice experience sampling different kinds of food, but the “as much as you can eat” style is not value for money for someone who cannot eat a lot at the time and the food at a buffet is never really hot enough. Nevertheless spent a very nice evening with friends as the service is great!
TheForkUserSuper nice place, The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is really really good and the prices more then fair. The waiting time is a bit longer but not unbearably so. You absolutely have to try it out but leave it for a night when you have nowhere else to be. Overall very pleasant experience, we'll certainly come back to try out other dishes
TheForkUserVery modern and chic place to have a business lunch. The tapas are great! Also for vegetarians, still could be improved :)
TheForkUserGood food and great service. But don't think the canteen style benches and tables work and clearly weren't liked by others who arrived after us. One couple walked away when told they couldn't have a table. It's a real pity as the food was good in very generous portions and all the staff were very welcoming. Some of the background music was pretty dire as well.
TheForkUserWe had a surprise menu blanc, and loved it. Each course was beautifully presented, with delicious and interesting complementary flavour combinations. The staff were very welcoming and helpful (despite my terrible French). A modern setting with a relaxed ambiance. Lovely!
TheForkUsertres bon pad thai
TheForkUserNice little place serving tapas, but with a French twist if you know where to look. Really friendly and efficient staff, and I thought it was good value.
TheForkUserGreat experience with delicious food! It’s the second time now and the quality of each dish is always stunning. We have made this a family tradition and will come here regularly with the entire family.
TheForkUserHamburgers trop bons.
TheForkUserLove the Sushi at Otoro. When visiting friends in Montpellier a visit here is a must for me. Great service and nice selection.
TheForkUserA great restaurant in the old city centre of Montpellier. Food and Service were great, we had been waiting only a bit longer for the bill. The atmosphere and the inner architecture is smooth and welcoming.
TheForkUserFriendly family-run restaurant with an original menu of really fresh and tasty dishes - good value. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserVery friendly staff! Especially our waitress from Ethiopia. Good pizza and salads.?Sppreciated the Forks 50% discount!
TheForkUserThis was actually the best food we had in Montpellier, perfect home cooking. No joke- we had a superb meal in Ripailles the previous night, which is outstanding- go there too- but the cooking by Sabah somehow had the edge. It’s a short hike from the centre: 18 minutes from the Marché aux Fleurs, into a residential neighbourhood. Once you get there it looks like the kind of local, tourist-free restaurant you dream of frequenting when you finally actually move here. The total absence of alcohol was, briefly, a shock, but then it turns out you don’t need wine to appreciate the superb cooking, and a night off the Pic St Loup really does make you feel more joie de vivre the next day. Iced tea (peach flavoured) is a great accompaniment to the richest foie gras with french toast and fig compote, and washes down souris d’agneau (lamb shank roasted in honey and thyme?) wonderfully. Great sides included- best chips outside Brussels, or creamy risotto rice. Altogether fabulous!
