TheForkUserThis was recommended by a friend and we tremendously enjoyed it, Really creative food based on local products, and a very friendly (not stuffy!) service. I highly recommend it if you are in the neighborhood
TheForkUserThe three course menu was well executed, from the seared prawns, the chicken and the dessert bread. Paired well with a white wine from Vacqueras. Kudos to the restaurant and chef.
TheForkUserLovely setting in a beautiful garden. The food was very good, and the waiters were super friendly. I enjoyed my evening very much.
TheForkUserVery fine restaurant. Great setting, lovely view, tasteful modern interior. Ask for window seat if possible. Food was delicious. Well constructed courses, intentional flavours, clear devotion to representing seasonal and regional ingredients. Flow of dishes was seamless without losing the uniqueness of each one. Service was outstanding. The waitstaff is easily at 2 star level, and paid attention to details which usually only exist at the 3 star level. Overall, this restaurant is well deserving of its recent accolades, and is outperforming at the current price point. Do not hesitate to book if possible.
TheForkUserVery friendly and efficient service. Modern casual ambiance with the restaurant opening up on the food production lab. Ravioles were perfectly cooked, and their sauces complemented them in a refreshing and tasty way. Great wines by the glass.
TheForkUserWhat a local gem! Wholesome tasty food incorporating the best of local produce. Good value menus and the wine list was very competitive compared to many restaurants especially at this level of good quality food. This cosy inn is in lovely off the main road village that is not ov by touristy and has some nice little shops displaying locally made pottey items. Really worth going out of your way to this cosy inn.
TheForkUserDinner was exquisite. The gorgeous view, the restaurant’s ambiance, and the extremely thoughtful (and highly professional) service was outshone only by the superb meal and wines. We appreciated the delicious amuse-bouche, which more than hinted at the skillfully prepared entrees to come. This is a spectacular restaurant.
TheForkUserVery helpful waiter to give us advice on both the food and wine. Great setting in the centre of Étoile. The filet de bœuf and the maigre were super tasty.
TheForkUserFabulous friendly staff who greatly helped our young children, fabulous fresh food and a unique case (grotto) setting made for a memorable experience for our family.
TheForkUserA hidden gem of great quality !The menu is refined and generous. Beautiful presentation that tastes as good as it looks. Pricing on the money. Truly you get what you paid for. Highly recommend and will return soon !!
TheForkUserWe come back to this restaurant every year when we are on holiday. Everything about this little gem is wonderful!!!! The food is superb quality, the people lovely and friendly and very forgiving of less than perfect French, and their wine is gorgeous, and available to buy from their small cave!
TheForkUserVery welcoming friendly staff. Carefully explained the menu to us. Excellent value fixed price menu and delicious food. The tomato, and the peach tarts were excellent. Lovely picturesque setting in courtyard garden. Would definitely recommend.
