M30***41Low quality products but good place to work on computerOne of the few cafes in Vang Vieng with air conditioning, lots of electric outlets, and many tables. An ideal place to bring your laptop and get some work done. The joy ends there as their coffee and baked products are rather low quality and overpriced.Amala Restaurant

M30***41Good place to stayNo bunk beds!!! A really nice place to stay. Quiet considering it''s in vang vieng. A nice social element in the cafe out front. But not party atmosphere like a lot of hostels. Slept well and the room was nice. Staff very friendly and can book bus tickets etc. Good value. Would stay againPullMind Cafe

M30***41An unusual experienceI chose to go there to have a lunch on the 31st of December. The restaurant was open and very quiet. There were just two or three other people. The North Korean waiter was very polite but did not have much English. The food was ok but as I’m not familiar with the North Korean cuisine it’s a little difficult to judge it. I certainly loved their dumplings. Overall, the food is a little expensive compare to most places in Vientiane. For about three dishes and a bottle of beer, we ended paying close to 900 baht (or about 30 dollars). They accepted Thai baht, which was great. Overall, it was an interacting experience.Japanese Izakaya DAI

M30***41So nice we ate here twiceAverage looking restaurant but staff very nice. It is a very small family run place. The kids are in a corner sleeping or playing. The food comes out when it’s ready - so good to share dishes if you want to eat together. Everything is fresh and as we were w 8 people and ate here twice we sampled quite a few dishes. We all enjoyed it. Great value for money!
