Stayed nearby, popped in for lunch. The cheese board was huge, good selection. French onion soup hit the spot on a chilly day. Waiter was a nice guy, made us feel welcome. Solid choice if you're in the area.

A pleasant meal, the staff were nice and had a good sense of humour. The English menu was helpful. The food was pretty good, though a couple of dishes were a bit on the salty side for my taste.

Cozy spot, lively vibe - exactly what we needed for our group dinner. The owner was super friendly and checked on us a few times, which was nice. Felt like a proper local hangout. The noise level was a bit high for deep conversation, but the energy was fun.

The owners are lovely people, but honestly, the food is what brings me back. The grilled octopus was cooked just right, tender with a perfect char. The pasta tasted fresh and homemade. A real treat.

Cozy spot, perfect for a quick lunch. Staff is friendly and efficient, food came out fast. Had the croque monsieur, hit the spot. A bit cramped but good for a solo bite.

Been coming here for years. I always order the brownie with ice cream for dessert. It's consistently good, just the right amount of warm and gooey. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

A couple of times a year I pass through Gare du Nord and I’m always on the lookout for a bistro to have an evening meal in - and this is an absolute gem!Very welcoming - from the owner behind the bar to Andrew waiting tables - and a menu with dishes to suit everyone, whether you fancy a burger, steak tartare, a salad, omelette, they can cater for you. Homemade desserts aplenty and a never-ending drinks list, whether dining on your own or in a party it’s an absolute pleasure to dine here. A main of beef carpaccio (delicious) with fries, bread, appetisers, water and a large glass of Bordeaux (treat to myself!) and a delicious homemade crème brûlée came to about £30. I know it was only me eating, but the attentive service and absolutely delicious food made it a very worthwhile treat. I look forward to returning soon!

A nice mix of Indian and French classics on the menu. The outdoor tables are a real treat on a calm evening. Staff was kind and patient with my English, which made ordering easy.

The team here is super friendly and young, really makes you feel welcome. Drinks are a bit cheaper than other places nearby, which is a nice plus.

The duck confit was a generous portion for the price. The leg was huge and fell right off the bone. Crème brûlée was also a decent size. Felt like I got my money's worth.

So glad we chose this for our first night out in Paris! The onion soup and goat cheese salad were highlights.

Came here alone and it was perfect for that. The view from the window seat is lovely for watching the street. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the vibe was just right for a quiet solo meal. Prices felt fair.

The espresso martini here is a standout. The coffee flavor is deep and rich, not just a sweet afterthought. It's properly balanced with the vodka, and the texture from the shaken espresso is perfect. One of the better versions I've had in a while.

A solid wine bar steps from Châtelet-Les Halles. The natural wine list is the real draw here—had a glass of a funky orange wine that was new to me. Perfect spot to linger and chat.

The food was delicious. I had the grilled octopus, perfectly charred and tender. The lemon and olive oil dressing was simple but bright. Portion was a bit small for the price, but the flavor was spot on.

Solid espresso, good beans. My wife's cappuccino was fine. It's a reliable coffee stop, though a bit pricey for the portion.

Been coming here for years. Their burger is always juicy, and the pickles make it. Not cheap, but it's the one I crave when I'm in the neighborhood.

I got their takeaway brunch box for €18. The mix of savory and sweet items was a nice touch. Everything tasted fresh. The packaging was simple but worked fine for a casual morning.

I stopped by for lunch and tried the tartare. The beef was so fresh and the ingredients tasted very clean. The daily specials looked good too. A nice, simple spot for a healthy meal.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with a friend. The salmon teriyaki was tasty and came out super fast, which was perfect because we were on a tight schedule. The place was packed but we still got our food quickly. Good spot for when you need a reliable, no-fuss meal with a pal.

We have been in France for a week. We ate some good food, for sure, but this night have been the best place. Yes, it is not fancy but it has a variety of good choices on the menu, everything we had wad great, prices are good, portions generous, service very good, not touristy, which I think is a plus. A genuine neighborhood place, with some basque dishes, . Highly recommend.

The espresso martini was the star for me. Really well-balanced, with a nice coffee kick and just the right sweetness. The other cocktails looked creative, but I stuck with that one. Solid spot for a good drink.

The staff here really made the night. They were so warm and spoke perfect English, which was a huge help for us. Felt very comfortable the whole time.

Service was super friendly and chill with our group of eight! They didn't rush us at all, even when we were just hanging out and chatting after eating. Made it a really nice spot to catch up with friends. The chicken wok and club sandwich were both solid, too.

The beef tartare was the star, no question. Shared it with friends and we all loved it. The Norwegian eggs and warm cheese salad were also really good. Staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Stumbled upon this spot. The menu caught my eye—classics mixed with some creative twists. My dish was cooked just right, arrived quickly. Nice, relaxed vibe for a weeknight dinner.

The duck confit was pretty good, cooked just right so the meat came off the bone easily. The fries were decent, crispy and well-seasoned. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The chicken bowl came out fast, good portion. Egg roll with mint was a nice touch. Got in and out in under 30 mins.

The foie gras starter was well executed. Our daughter enjoyed the kids' menu. We were seated promptly, which was appreciated on a busy evening. Good for a family meal.

Always come back for the terrace spot, it’s the best after a walk around Trocadéro.
