TheForkUserLovely local restaurant. Food was excellent. The only problem we had was being able to access the online menu which was frustrating. The experience was greatly enhanced when we received a written menu and could then ask our server for food and wine recommendations. It’s a shame to only have the online menu as you lose the personal touch which makes the dining experience more pleasurable. Overall we very much enjoyed the food and ambience.
TheForkUserOutside tables next to the park fill quickly and a pretty quiet (away from walking street). Good range of wine/prices by bottle and food was flavorable
TheForkUserApart from providing an intersting and inventive tasting menu, and a great choice wines, with interaction with staff was excellent.
TheForkUserA thoroughly enjoyable experience, in a very stylish setting, and with great food, even beyond the restaurant's specialty: the costate.
TheForkUservery good food and service. We went on a family dinner and had a good time. However, it's possible to get also very good food and service in other restaurants in the area for a bit lower price.
TheForkUserOur waiter, a Croat whose name I have forgotten, was absolutely wonderful. He moved us to an outside table in the shade and with a view of the harbor and hills when one became available. And he engaged us in friendly conversation. Beyond that, the food was excellent, particularly the mixed seafood risotto (requires two people to order). I'd happily return again and again just to have the risotto and some sparkling water (although the suggested wine was very good and not overcharged). Inside is nice but could get a bit noisy when there is a group having lunch.
TheForkUserWe were there on New Year’s Eve. The food and wine and service was great. The only issue is that we didn’t realize how long the entire dinner would take. We got there at 9pm and hoped to be done by 11-11:30pm at the latest. We had to leave without getting our desert and champagne because we wanted to see the fireworks and the countdown from Piazza L’Unita before 12pm. It was my fault for not asking how long we would be there. We love the restaurant, have been there before, and will continue to go again. Happy New Year!
TheForkUserwe have been coming here for 4 years now, never disappointed. they update their menu often. we always love their refined approach to cooking, the ambience and most of all the great service from Erik and the new staff Marsela. today we went for my husband's birthday. everything was delicious and wonderful. we'll be back again!
TheForkUserSo far the best meal we have had on our two week vacation. The presentation as well as the combination of flavors were excellent. Thank you so much for a great experience.
TheForkUserThe ambience should leave the impression of the old pub and it is possible that it is a cold weather but a Saturday evening in a half-empty restaurant where cold and guests are seated in the jackets did not justify our expectations. Beer is fine and food well prepared, but the impression that the ingredients are cheap. Something like in large fast food chains. I think the owner of everything wants to save ... The restaurant and the concept has potential, but it needs a good manager and a new shine.
TheForkUserAbsolutely impeccable service and food. From start to finish the food and service was unbeatable. The employee who wears glasses is an especially personable and knowledgeable young lady. She smiled the entire evening and explained each dish in exquisite detail. The chef came out and greeted us at the end. This restaurant should be three Michelin stars.
TheForkUserFood was decent but service was disappointing. Long periods where no one was around. Dropped off wine list but never came back to take order until the food arrived 20 minutes later.
TheForkUserAmazing!!!Argentinian living in Italy. Seeing a meat dish named Dall’Argentina, OMG. It was incredible. Was a looking for a place to eat meat and it was better than I expected it.
TheForkUserThe outside sitting area was lovely, nicely decorated and very pleasant to eat.The fish and seafood dishes were delicious. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
TheForkUserAuthentic restaurant with local cuisine. Food was delicious and owner was welcoming and helped us with choices. We were only staying one night and so glad we found this restaurant. It’s a bit off the main section for restaurants but we’ll worth the extra 5 minutes walk to get there. You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant. All locals in when we were there - always a good recommendation!
TheForkUserWe recently visited Alla Pace and our experience was fantastic. The restaurant specializes in seafood, and every dish was exceptional. We started with sea bass tartare, grilled scallops and sautéed mussels and clams – all were incredibly flavorful. For the main course we had truffle and shrimp pasta and seafood pasta. Both were masterpieces, with surreal combinations of flavors. The service was friendly, attentive and prompt, and the ambiance was pleasant. The price was justified by the high quality of food and service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves excellent seafood. It’s a culinary experience you won’t forget.
TheForkUserIn general a good place to come with children. However, 3 euros per person for old bread is too much. Also beer of 0.5 l was served in a glas of 0.4 l, that's not okay and has to be changed. But again a nice family place and I will give a higher feedback once the mentioned issues are solved. Thank you and wishing the best
TheForkUserIn this restaurant you can have very fresh and good fish and seafood...the pizza is also excellent...highly recomending yhis restaurant.
TheForkUserWe have been to this restaurant several times and it always consistently excellent. The orato was perfectly cook and presentation was pleasant. Never been disappointed.
TheForkUserSurely the best sushi in the whole of friuli. Great sake, amazing staff and very surprising food! Very happy to come here more often, thanks for the great night!!!
TheForkUserThe restaurant seems to be a family-owned business and they couldn't make you feel more at home. You can see how they make your pizza from scratch with only fresh ingredients. Plus, the amount of ingredients on top of the pizza is notable and the choice, quite innovative (try the pizza with pistachio!).Overall, a very pleasant and local experience for a very fair price. Totally recommended.
TheForkUserIt was a nice surprise. A beautiful restaurant and delicious dinner. We enjoyed our meal: Osvaldo raw ham with burrata, fresh pasta with tomatoes and rocket pesto, Beef Stratagliata with baked potatoes, Vicentina-style cod with polenta. Also the white house whine was good. It was a nice evening.
TheForkUserGreat place, great food, great wine list, great service - and very accommodating on a busy day when two of our guests arrived late due to traffic.
TheForkUserGreat Osteria connected with a vineyard. Food simple but great quality all for a very reasonable price.
