On weekend evenings the restaurant is given over to a sort of pop-up Ethiopian restaurant. Chicken tibs is good, vegetable dishes are fine. Nothing out of the Ethiopian ordinary, and not really a destination, but the woman who served us was pleasant and obliging, and since I’m often in the neighborhood I’ll definitely go back. I’d call it a little pricey, but that’s California for you.

This is a great place to wind down after work. Really creative handcrafted cocktail menu and selection of local bottled beer. Really recommend. The bartenders were super nice and humored our questions about the origins of the place. This is definitely a place you want to order cocktails, as there didn't seem to be any beer on tap.
