Located in a former store - Spartan decor - one chef per four diners - fresh fish from Japan - 14 different pieces of sushi - prepared in front of you - explanation & clarification - very delicious - possibility to have an extension - one Michelin star and deserves it - how to get to two?

Read about Frances in a news article and went on a Sunday night. It's nicely, but simply, decorated a small place in the Castro with very small tables for two (which I hate) and noisy, but the meal was fantastic, service was good.

The crepes are amazing, so many varieties. The staff are attentive and kind. Easy to accommodate allergies, etc.

Visiting the area and needed breakfast. This was great. On street parking is not bad if you are there early in the morning, as we were. The place is in a very small older house that has that certain "Berkeley charm."
