Chinini

Address - 19 Purvis Street, Singapore 188598
Ambiance/Facilities - Large restaurant housed in a shop house, plenty of seating, ideal for big groups
Highlights - Chicken rice
Avg. Price per Person - $15 to $20
Rating - 4/5

Zhi Char (mix of local dishes to be eaten communally) is a typical Singaporean family’s choice of meal when eating out. Chin Chin Eating House is just the place to go to have the local experience right in the heart of the city. The restaurant is very old school with no frills, specializing in Hainanese chicken rice.

We headed there as a large family to have our usual weekend gathering. There was no queues as we went early. Though parking could be an issue as only street side parking is available. We ordered their chicken rice, Hainanese pork chops, mixed vegetables, stir fried french beans, omelette and curry fish head. All the dishes came out piping hot from the kitchen. The most notable is their curry fish head, I would say it’s easily one of the best I’ve tried in Singapore. The fish was fresh, and the curry was creamy and fragrant. You could eat many bowls of rice with this!

All in all, a fantastic place to come and feast if you are around the area.

(Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore)
地址:182 Clemenceau Avenue

Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Bandar
