TheForkUserA great restaurant. Food was as expected. Seafood Risotto was huge in portion size! Service was great. Ambience could have been better, but that’s also due to it coming out of season, as well as us having dinner early! Overall, a good experience.
TheForkUserThe food was excellent prepared and presented. Come hungry as the portions are not small! The homemade bread was also something special - really delicious. Recommend the restaurant and would go again.
TheForkUserVery good lunch in Sicilian style. Nice price. Very tastefull and typical dishes. We were glad that we found this restaurant via the Fork. Thanks
TheForkUserAs Italy - and Sicily as part of it - is growing multicultural, it's beautiful to have such restaurants representing the moltitude of food cultures in our country. A splendid mix between typical Sicilian recipes and dishes from around the world.
TheForkUserSecond visit and we encountered a warm welcome, great food and service again too. Extensive menu and interesting wine list with local choice. Highly recommend
TheForkUserLovely restaurant! Wonderful fresh food and very attentive service. Had a terrific sauce for the gnocchi I had and also a great caponata and caprese. We are returning this week!
TheForkUserWe had the 7 course tasting menu. Several items, like the foie gras paired with truffle ice cream, were great. All were inventive and exciting to try.
TheForkUserThe combination of exquisite food, brilliantly and imaginatively matched wines and warm, efficient and knowledgeable service made this an evening to remember and, at €300 for 8 courses, 5 wine pairings and plenty of water, it was excellent value we felt. Surely due a Michelin star? Highly recommend to any visitor to Palermo who loves food - I will certainly return on any future trip to the city!
TheForkUserwe ordered a pasta each at first, a norma and a fish pasta, and were alreeady quite full, then came the pork shank that we shared and that how glad we were to have made such a good choice
TheForkUserView is great. I found the staff attentive and friendly. Food was good- better than I expected from some other reviews. It’s not cheap but glad we went.
TheForkUserWe were seated right away and loved the coziness of the restaurant. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was amazing.
TheForkUserThe food was fantastic - both inventive and totally delicious and the service was impeccable. Friendly , efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend eating here.
TheForkUserNice staff, very helpfull.Food is fast and very acceptable priced, this goes as well for the drinks. The location is a little strange, but that didn't hold us back from enjoying the food.
TheForkUserOur server/host/owner was delightful and entertaining. The restaurant is quiet enough to have a conversation even when many tables are full. He introduced to a lovely local gin.
TheForkUserlocation a bit out of the city centre, easy by car. food was nice and service good. a bit noisy when we went because of a large family with kids bit on the whole value for money with 50 % discount
TheForkUserWe had there last dinner in Palermo and it was really tasty. There were children with us, so they could find also simple dishes. Great cacio e Pepe!
TheForkUseroutstanding food wine and service . knowledgeable waiters . very intimate. quality of sword fish outstanding so fresh.
TheForkUserThe food is very tasty and comforting, we’ve spent a nice evening even though we had to wait quite some time for the main dishes. Thank you Locale !
TheForkUserThe restaurant is a little off the beaten track but worth making the effort for - you would be advised to book ahead as it was fully booked when we visited. For our starters two of us ordered the Angus meatballs (they were lovely and you get a large portion - enough to share) and two of us ordered the melted provolone cheese (again a lovely dish). It was meat all round for our main courses with two of us ordering the filet steak and two the ribeye - the steaks were very good. The restaurant is owned and run by a husband and wife combination and the service from them and all the team was very good - great explanation of the dishes and friendly service. We enjoyed a bottle of Etna Rosso Sensi from Cantine Patria, made exclusively from the nerello mascalese grape, with our dinner and it was really nice.A lovely meal with great service - we would be recommend dining there to anyone.
TheForkUserThis is a place that has no walk by tourist traffic. This is a place that gives you food that locals eat. You only hear Italian voices.Palermo at its best.
TheForkUserBeen here multiple times... The pasta was, amazingly delicious...... We tasted the fettuccine con l'astice, the busiate with pesce spada and remaining super satisfied...... This place we highly recommend!!!!!
TheForkUserGreat food! Am amazing chef who took the time to come chat to us about various menu options for my wife's seafood allergy.
TheForkUserNo more less than a week and we go back.6 days in sicilia and 2 dinners at this place. That's a lot to say, right?Thank for the experience, good food and real Italian feeling.
TheForkUserfood was precooked and not warmed properly but did taste ok..
TheForkUserNice place inside, quiet, warm. It was January. Good wine selection. Had shank and potatos. Really great. Good price. $50 for 2 dinners and 2 wine glasses. Outside also ok but louder. Off the beaten path so 100% locals.
TheForkUserBoth service and food were great . It was one of the best meals we had in Sicily . We had Crudo di mare , pasta with zuccini ( exceptional!) and amberjack .
