The staff were lovely, and the place was spotless. I really appreciated how fresh the salad ingredients tasted - the greens were crisp and the tomatoes had real flavour. It's a simple spot, but they clearly care about what goes on the plate.

Decent portions for the price. Had the pasta, it was filling and didn't break the bank. Not a fancy spot, but you get what you pay for.

Stopped in for a pub dinner while on a work trip. The food was incredible, honestly some of the best pub grub I've had in ages.

Nice range of beers on tap. The place had a warm, welcoming vibe. I tried a couple of local ales with my steak pie – solid pairing. A bit noisy later on, but that’s a Friday for you.

Stayed a few nights. The room was clean and bright, which was perfect for us and our dog. They even had a treat box ready for him!

Been here a few times for a quick business lunch. The food is reliable and they have a solid choice of local beers and wines by the glass. Service is efficient. Prices are fair for the area.

Been coming here for years, and their Sunday roast is always spot on. The chicken and beef are consistently hot, and the veg selection is generous. It's just a reliable, solid meal every time.

Came for a quick lunch, got the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. The chips were proper thick cut. Felt like decent value for what you get.

Found this place tucked away and the food was spot on. Their lamb curry had real depth, and the sommelier suggested a bold red that cut through the richness perfectly. A bit on the pricier side for the portions, but the pairing made it worthwhile.

Been coming here for ages, they remember my usual order without me even asking. That kind of personal touch is really nice. Makes you feel looked after, you know?

Lovely, peaceful gardens to wander through on a Sunday. The cafe's salad was a real highlight for me – so crisp and fresh, you could tell the greens were just picked. A nice, light option after a stroll. The ping pong tables are a fun touch, too.

Cozy spot. The lamb combo was cooked fresh in front of us and paired nicely with a robust red. Good value for the quality.

The chips were spot on. Hot, crispy, not greasy at all. Sometimes it's the simple things done right that make a difference. Portion was decent too.

The Sunday carvery is a proper treat. Really liked the variety of meats and all the trimmings. The roasties were spot on - crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Just a solid, comforting roast in a nice, relaxed setting.

The food is always solid, but I really like the vibe here. It’s got a nice, relaxed feel—good lighting, comfy chairs, nothing too loud. Just a really pleasant place to have a meal.

The menu has some nice options beyond the usual fish and chips. I tried their Mediterranean salad, and the ingredients were really fresh. The feta cheese and olives tasted good, and the greens were crisp. It's a solid choice if you're looking for something lighter.

The low beams and rustic decor really give this place character. Felt cosy and welcoming as soon as we walked in. A lovely spot for a quiet dinner.

Vintage teacups, seaside view. Cheese toastie was spot on. Bacon sandwich hit the right notes too. Good for a quick bite by the water.

The delivery mix-up was sorted out quickly. Staff were very apologetic, which I appreciated. The food itself was decent.

Good range of real ales, the pint I had was decent. They sometimes have live music, which is a nice touch. It was a bit loud for conversation when the band was on, but fine for a casual drink.

Been coming here for years. Their wine list is solid, and the staff knows how to pair a glass with your main. That's what keeps me coming back. The food's always on point, too.
