Wow!! I cannot recommend this trip enough!! It was absolutely amazing, the perfect blend of guidance and information with enough freedom to explore and see things on your own. Dao was the best tour guide, I've ever had, anywhere. I did this tour with my wife and sister, but I will definitely be taking my parents and friends on this exact tour when they visit me. If you want to see the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China and you only have one full day in Beijing, then 1000000% book this trip. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

A affordable way to get to the wall and the summer palace. The guide explains and makes sure you know the different options, books tickets for you (cable car, slide, gondola, etc) and gets you where you need to be. That part overall was great. The overall duration was too long. That day alone we walked 14km and 62 flights of stairs, we left the hotel at 7am (which was right beside pickup point) and got back to hotel a 8:30pm without eating dinner yet.

We had a great time (daytime route). The bus also offers an optional boat ride to the city (only there, immediately upon arrival) for 80 and a cable car (roundtrip) for 160. There weren't many people on the wall. In the evening, both the city and the Great Wall are beautifully illuminated.
