Reviews: 1-day tour to the Similan Islands in Thailand from Krabi/Phuket/Khao Lak with two snorkeling and island climbing

I am very satisfied with this trip to Smilan. We made a guide in advance, set the ship of Seastar, and chose to sleep for an extra hour. Our hotel stayed at Naithonburi Beach Resort and picked us up at the back, but there was still more than an hour from the pier. I really can't stand the road far away. I have to live in the koala next time. It is close to the pier. I saw the product guide. There is a pier on the top of Phuket, but the boat is a speedboat. I don't like the speedboat. I finally chose the far side of the pier. I came here and told everyone that if you want to travel to Similan, you really have to find a good strategy and choose a suitable boat. Choose a suitable hotel, otherwise you are really tired, I estimate that the return journey will take about 4 hours, Similan is far away, that the voyage time is really impossible, take the car guide to sit on the number, that is, you can sit less road, to the strategy is not done well, I really feel like I am in the car and boat most of the time. It is tired to go to Similan, but it is really super beautiful, the butler service is good, the corresponding speed is very fast, the service is great, you can buy with confidence.

This trip was a major reason for our trip to Phuket, and it was also the Similan Islands, which we had been longing to visit for years. We looked at many tours, and overall it was quite good. First of all, the yacht was relatively small; the seats were narrower than the Capricorn. We were unlucky; they said there would be 10 guests the day before, but we had 30. 30 people was the full capacity; there wasn't a single empty seat. For a better experience, I personally think 15 people, at most 20, would be ideal. Our child was uncomfortable and lay down, so we were able to sit next to others for a while. But when it rained, we had to sit at the captain's feet 😓. The day before, we took a yacht to Racha Island, so we had a clear comparison. However, the service on this yacht was excellent, and the food was impeccable. The mango sticky rice and salmon were even better than those in a five-star hotel—the best Thai food I had during those days. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing butler-level service. They actively encouraged us to go snorkeling, and with the large number of people on the boat the day before, it felt like they wouldn't let us miss it. The Similan Islands are beautiful, and we saw sea turtles while snorkeling, which was very exciting. Perhaps due to the large influx of people into the Similan Islands, the water at the second snorkeling spot was quite murky. Most people probably went to the Similan and Phi Phi Islands, but I felt that snorkeling at Racha Island, aside from the absence of sea turtles, was a better experience than in the Similan. There was also a minor incident, which Ctrip handled perfectly.

The three of us girls hadn't slept much for two days when we went, and it was also our period. The weather was drizzling, the waves were huge, and it was freezing cold. Definitely bring a jacket! We were all wearing long sleeves, long pants, and socks, plus fleece-lined jackets and a large towel wrapped around ourselves, and we were still freezing. When the boat stopped, all three of us were seasick and felt like we wouldn't survive the day. We've been out to sea and fishing before, and the boat stops were never this bad! 😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣 We were the only three Chinese people there, and we couldn't understand the local language. A tour guide, knowing we might not understand, came over and explained things to us. The service was good, and the food was okay, but we didn't dare drink a drop of water.

An excellent excursion with attentive, helpful guides (Tequila was great!). We sailed from Khao Lak pier for about an hour and 20 minutes. First, we passed an island with a rock called Sail, incredible views, and an unrealistically turquoise sea! The guides helped with photos. The beach had powdery white sand, but the entrance to the sea on this island had small rocks and coral fragments. Next, there were two snorkeling spots; we swam among the reefs and fish, absolutely fantastic!!! Then we had lunch on another island, where we saw monitor lizards and blue doves. The beaches were very photogenic! I recommend it to everyone! Well organized, everything went smoothly! Thank you!

Everything was great. The staff were all friendly, and even though I was traveling alone, they took great pictures for me. The boat was larger and more comfortable than other companies. The food was average, but I didn't have high expectations, so it wasn't bad.
