This tour was an amazing experience! 😍 Jinshanling is the perfect choice for hiking and nature lovers, since it’s peaceful and not crowded. Our guide Lucy was super friendly and had a great vibe. Thanks to her, we also got to see Simatai part of the Great Wall at night and enjoy a boat ride in Gubei Water Town. For my first trip to Beijing, visiting two different parts of the Wall in one day was really special. Highly recommend!

Great Trip！ let's take a look at the pictures. Jinshanling is the best. I originally wanted to go to Mutianyu Great Wall because many friends recommended taking their bus to Mutianyu. Later, I found out that there was also a Jinshanling day tour, so I decided to choose it. It was amazing. This company is reliable.

Adam, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a history lesson of the great wall and Beijing throughout the journey. It was well planned and the van ride was comfortable even though the journey was long. Highly recommend that you go for this tour.

If you wanna see the Great Wall without a lot of people, this is worth the distance to go far. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive. We had our five year-old son with us and we took the cable car to the Jinshanling Great Wall area after we got dropped off by the tour bus and got picked up by a private car to go to that area, which is about an hour away from Simatai, where most of the group was at. after we got drop off on the side of the road, we got picked up by a private car it was about 30-40 minute drive. There wasn’t much communication we had to use Google translator. He took us to a restaurant a little bit off the beaten path and said we should have lunch keep in mind you don’t have to.

Very happy to have booked this trip! We were able to see two sections of The Great Wall in one day, a feat that we couldn’t possibly have achieved on our own. Our guide, Andy, was so friendly & very knowledgeable. Our driver, Mr. Gao, was a very safe driver. I am so happy to have experienced Jinshangling during the day— the trek was a bit challenging, but the views were incredible. Seeing sunset at Simatai— an experience Andy made sure we wouldn’t miss— was also a highlight. The Gubej water town was a lovely, pretty way to end our adventures. Overall, it’s clear this experience is well-planned, efficient, and makes traveling stress-free.
