We paid extra for First class. It was a bit pricey but was not disappointed. Priority for boarding and getting off, extra leg room, large seat, plus complimentary drink and snack (simple). You simply print out your tickets and show up at the boarding gate. Immigration process was simple and fast.

Check-in at the Macau Outer Ring Ferry Terminal is required 30 minutes in advance. The last ferry departs at 11 PM sharp; simply scan your QR code to enter. However, when checking in, my e-ticket suddenly wouldn't open; I had to retrieve it immediately through customer service. I suggest taking a screenshot beforehand next time to avoid the same issue. The ferry ride was smooth, customs clearance was fast, and there was free Wi-Fi on board. I would consider taking this ferry again next time.
