Reviews: Lake Lugano - a taste of culture

Patricia, our guide, provided a very nice walking tour of Lugano...then enjoyed a boat ride on and around a good portion of the lake before ending up at the Grotto for the Risotto making and lunch. We had an awesome time there...food and wine were terrific. Our guide even escorted us from the boat at the end to the Funicular for going up to the top of San Salvatore mountain for views around the entire lake and area. Great day overall!★

This was our first time in Lugano. Florane was our guide and she was an absolute delight. Aside from giving us an excellent historical overview of the city and various sites (churches, monuments, plazas), she gave us practical advice about traveling in this city. She spoke English fluently and shared funny anecdotes as well. In short, if we ever travelled back here again - my wife and I would love to have her as our tour guide again. She was great.★

A really beautiful park, despite its small size. I'd love to go back. It's very well organized, with entertainers, and is ideal for families with children. A great place to spend a day out of the city and feel at one with nature.
