Reviews: Mt. Teide and Masca Valley Tour in Tenerife

In the words of my 8 year old son “BEST DAY EVER!”. We caught the cable car to the viewing platform and climbed to the summit thereafter (permit required to access the summit). We spent 11 days in Tenerife and this was our last day excursion. We were lucky enough to access the summit of volcano with no other tourists around. We spent 30 minutes at the top taking photos and having a good look around at the crater and views. Things to note - If you drive like we did, the roads are long and winding. It’s about 70-90 minutes from most locations on the island. The drive is not for the faint hearted but is manageable. Parking was a bit of an issue. It’s super busy at any given time. We did get a space eventually but had to walk from the main road nearly to the cable car area at the base. Boarding is 20 minutes before you allocated cable car time. Be there or be square! They did leave without people who arrived late. If you are hoping to access the summit of the volcano you need to apply for a permit. We applied for this a number of months before our visit. Also, if you are going to attempt the summit be prepared for the altitude. Me and my son wholly underestimated the altitude situation. We had to stop nearly every 5 minutes to catch our breath. Took us around an hour to climbed to the top. Yes, parts of the track you will have to physically climb. Take plenty of water and snacks! All in all…. If you are going up there, go for the summit. Amazing experience and something me and my son will never forget!

Very easy to use they scan QR code directly and they will give you a bracelet for the other park but you also have to show the QR code at both parks. Loro park is beautiful and the beat penguin enclosure i have ever seen . Siam park is also amazing and there is something for all ages

We were picked up from the hotel on time in a clean and modern bus. After the usual pick-up of other participants, we headed to the south of the island to the submarine. In the boat, two people share a window to look out. The explanations are provided via headphones, and a variety of languages are available. A diver swam around the boat and showed us a starfish on his hand or "led" a ray past the boat. The information was very interesting, and the ride was very slow and calm, allowing us to see a lot. After what felt like too short a time, we returned to the harbor and were transferred to Las Americas, where we had 1.5 hours of free time. Afterwards, we returned to the north of the island and returned to the hotel after a total of just under 7 hours. There was no guide to provide information during the trip, but we didn't miss it either. Overall, the day went smoothly and the organization was good.

Lovely day tour with pick up from a hotel in Los Gigantes. The lunch left a little to be desired (at own cost of €17) but did have a veggie menu. The bus driver was excellent (per the other reviews!) and the last section of the day was incredible with all the views. The stops are relatively short, so you can't go too far from the pick up point. Christoph was incredibly good humoured and open to questions (he speaks 5 languages!). The downside is that the route is very wiggly, so potentially travel sickness for those that suffer and at times the instructions for where to go (especially after lunch) aren't completely clear, so ask lots of questions! All in all, a decent tour for the price, but you will want to do more exploring if you're only planning on one tour during your stay.

The tour was very beautiful, the staff was very nice and you could always joke around with them while they still were very professional through all that. The ride was beautiful and we always felt safe. The only thing that i would change (if possible) Is that the ride back from the "Mars field" was the same as we got up there, but i think there may be no other way back down. There were enough breaks for drinking something or taking pictures. Would recommend and do it again.
