Tablet666The Egyptian Museum is the world's most famous treasure trove of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It is located in Cairo's Tahrir Square and was built in 1902. The museum contains more than 120,000 treasures, spanning 5,000 years, including the treasures of the town halls such as Tutankhamun's gold mask, the Royal Mummy Hall, and the statue of Kafra. The building itself is neoclassical style, and the two-story exhibition hall is arranged according to the age and theme. Although it is slightly crowded, it creates an archaeological warehouse-like atmosphere. The heritage labeling system is slightly old, but it does not hinder its status as an academic town for studying ancient Egyptian civilization. After the opening of the new museum (the Great Egyptian Museum), it still attracts historical lovers with irreplaceable collection density

Tablet666Khalili Market is the most legendary Arab traditional market in Cairo, and has been an important trading center on the Silk Road since the 14th century. The maze of narrow lanes is lined with gold and silver shops, spice stalls, handicraft workshops, copper lamps, papyrus and other specialty products. The Fisharvi Café in the core area (founded in 1773) still retains the tradition of gathering Arab literary artists, while the stained glass and mosque minarets under the market dome form a unique Islamic picture. Despite the obvious commercialization and the need to be vigilant against high-price traps, the noisy bargaining noise, the air of mint tea and spices still make it a must-visit place to experience Egyptian culture.

Tablet666In the long river of history, Saladin Castle stands quietly there as a witness, its existence is not only the accumulation of buildings, but also the precipitation of history and the continuation of culture. Whether it is the first ray of sunshine in the morning or the last sunset in the evening, it seems to be putting on a mysterious veil for the castle, attracting people to explore the story behind it.

Tablet666The hanging church building itself is like a work of art, standing on a cliff, giving a mysterious sense of solemnity. The exquisite interior decoration complements the magnificent scenery outside, making people feel like they are in a quiet and sacred space. In addition, the natural scenery around the church is beautiful and a very memorable experience. Highly recommended for friends who like to explore beautiful buildings and seek peace.

86338633Located in the northeast of Cairo, it has a history of thousands of years. It has many scenic spots and historical sites such as the ancient castle, mosques, and the Khalili Traditional Crafts Market. It was listed in the World Heritage List in 1979. There are more than 1,000 mosques in Cairo, and the towering minarets of the mosques are straight into the clouds, so Cairo is also known as the "City of a Thousand Minarets". Located in the old city, the Khalili Market consists of thousands of shops distributed in dozens of streets and alleys, and many of the shops can be traced back to the 14th century. The narrow roads are lined with various jewelry, copper plates, stone carvings, leather goods and other traditional Egyptian handicrafts. Most tourists come here to buy tourist souvenirs. Shopping here is a special feeling, as if walking into the real version of "One Thousand and One Nights".

sophia帅帅After passing through the garbage city and arriving at this ancient church, I marveled at human wisdom and awe of faith. You can take a taxi online and ask the driver to wait. It is not easy to take a taxi back. The ceiling of the church has no colorful glass and gorgeous decorations, but it is extremely sacred and quiet.

Tablet666The Cairo Tower, as an iconic building in Egypt, does have a certain historical and cultural value. However, it did not impress me in terms of the experience. The facilities inside the tower are slightly old and the maintenance does not seem to be perfect. After climbing the tower, the view is wide, but due to the development of the city, the surrounding landscape is not very attractive. For history lovers, there may be some attractions here, but for thrill-seeking travelers, it may seem a bit prosaic.
