_TI***1yLove the experience, lots of panda’s there. The day we were there wasn’t too crowed. The apps were easy to use, live tracking was great, able to follow the 2.5 hrs tour and visit all location without issues.

JazzlesWhat a peaceful way to start the morning. We entered the shrine at around 9am and its was still relatively quiet. It was way bigger than we thought so plenty to explore. Our favourite was the bonsai trees section

NorCaLiDefinitely worth a visit—and not crowded! I went around 2 PM during feeding time and got to watch the pandas enjoying their lunch while the red pandas were napping afterward. Dujiangyan is a great place to see these amazing animals and also check out the famous Nanqiao Bridge. I’d love to come back again!

Main highlights on levels 2 to 4, where you’ll find beautifully preserved artefacts and detailed exhibitions tracing the region’s long history. That said, be prepared for a lot of walking — if you go through the displays in detail, your legs won’t be yours by the end!Foreign visitors should queue at a booth outside (passports needed) to get free entrance tickets before entering. Once inside, you can rent a digital guide (mine was CNY40, with pricier options available). The vendors love to throw shade at each other over pricing and hygiene — mildly entertaining and awkward. The audio guide is worth it, as the galleries lack a clear logical flow - think dumbbell-shaped rooms with exhibits on both sides and no obvious direction. The museum could really use numbered routes, floor arrows, or a timeline graphic to help visitors make sense of which dynasty or period they’re viewing.Overall, it’s fascinating, huge and worth the time - just wear comfy shoes and expect navigation quirks (plus parents with young kids who can't quite contain their volume 😬).
