Min “miNNieTHeMoUSe” LimWe enjoyed seeing the animals especially all the pandas, including Qizai at the park. We would recommend to take the tram ride to the top and view all the animals coming down towards the exit. That will be most leisurely a visit and allow you to have more time to hang at each enclosure.

Anonymous userThe large botanical garden at the foot of the Qinling Mountains has very few flowers in winter, and some areas are under maintenance or construction. It also closes earlier than usual. Spending time in the garden with elderly relatives to enjoy the sunshine is a nice alternative.

_TI***u6Except for the slow and child friendly attractions everything else is open in the afternoon! The afternoon ticket would've been enough. Prices are alright for a park. The park was really empty with only school classes where there in the morning, in the afternoon some more people came but still felt like we were almost alone. (Middle of November). Lots of photo spots !

RivkaWas pleasantly surprised at how peaceful this experience was considering how many people it looked like were heading to the park from the train station. The walk to the Pandas is beautiful but steep. Our 4 year old managed with no issues. We unfortunately didn’t see any golden monkeys but Hengheng the panda was in. Was a great alternative to the crowds in Chengdu. I think it was our 4 year olds favourite day so far on our trip. To get there the bus leaves from both the bus and train stations. It costs 10 Yuan and we caught the 10.10 from the bus station but there is a 7.30 bus. We were also told the bus didn’t return till 5 but we caught the bus at 1.15.

发货空间Taiping National Forest Park is worth a visit, offering numerous highlights, including the following: - Spectacular Waterfalls [__LINK_ICON]: The park's core attraction is a three-dimensional gallery of eight waterfalls, including Rainbow, Crane Bridge, Mist, and Jade Belt. Within a mere 2.5 kilometers, this spectacular waterfall cluster is a rare sight in northern China. Rainbow Falls boasts a 160-meter drop. On clear days, sunlight refracts through the mist, often creating a dazzling rainbow in front of the falls. Crane Bridge Falls, eroded by long fault lines, has naturally carved a stone bridge across the falls. Clear water flows beneath, a breathtaking display of natural wonder. - Spring-Only Redbud Sea [__LINK_ICON]: Every April, wild redbuds bloom across the mountains. This is a rare natural habitat for redbuds in China. Ten thousand acres of "redbud sea" bloom, creating a breathtaking spectacle of "pink mist and purple clouds" blanketing the mountains. The best viewing period lasts until late April. - A Secret Ecological Land with Distinct Seasons [__LINK_ICON]: With a forest coverage rate exceeding 96%, the scenery here varies with each season. Spring brings a vibrant display of mountain flowers; summer temperatures drop below 30°C, making it a popular summer retreat; autumn brings vibrant colors, with red birch and larch forests interweaving; and winter brings a blanket of snow, creating a picturesque tranquility. - A Rich Historical and Cultural Heritage [__LINK_ICON]: During the Sui and Tang dynasties, this was the site of the Taiping Palace, the imperial summer palace. Emperor Taizong of Tang frequently visited this area, earning it the nickname "Wanhua Mountain" (now Wanhua Mountain), brimming with historical and cultural ambiance. - Comprehensive Recreational Facilities [__LINK_ICON]: The scenic area offers a shuttle bus connecting the main gate and the trailhead, and a cable car directly to the core viewing points. The route is flexible, with the first half being a gentle plank road suitable for the elderly and children, while the second half of the climb can be enjoyed on foot or by cable car, making it accessible to all audiences.

lingliziWhen I went to Xi'an, I made an appointment for the Shaanxi History Museum. I didn't make an appointment, so I had to make an appointment for the Qin and Han Museum. Located in Qin and Han New Town, Xixian New District, it is a special museum that focuses on displaying cultural relics and history and culture during the Qin and Han periods. The exhibition hall is displayed with the concept of "big history + small theme", with "the same Qin and Han civilization theme exhibition in the world" and special exhibitions such as Qin and Han architecture, music, life, and more than 1,000 precious cultural relics and digital technology, vividly presenting the brilliant achievements of Qin and Han unified China. Its architecture integrates the style of Qin Xianyang Palace, and the magnificent atmosphere is intersected with the surrounding ruins, which has become an important window for interpreting Chinese civilization. I didn't expect that there are many collections and the experience is great. It is a little farther from the city. You can reach it by subway line 2 to line 14.

lingliziOur second stop in Xi'an is the Shaanxi Archaeological Museum. Located in Chang'an District, Xi'an, it is the first archaeological-themed museum in China, officially opened in April 2022. The museum was prepared by Shaanxi Provincial Archaeological Research Institute and has an exhibition area of 5,800 square meters. The theme of "Archaeological Holy Land, Huazhang Shaanxi" is a systematic display of Shaanxi archaeological development history and major achievements. The museum has more than 200,000 cultural relics, covering the prehistoric to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including stone scorpion sites, Western Zhou bronzes, The characteristics of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses are that they combine archaeological excavations with research results. They have a special area for cultural relics protection, showing the whole process of archaeological work, and are both academic and popular. It is an important window to understand China's archaeological culture. Free appointment visit. Complete facilities. A bit far from the city, the subway transfer bus is direct.
