The Wuhou Temple in Mian County, also known as the Zhuge Temple, is located in Zhuge Ancient Town, Wuhou Town, Mian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is a temple built to commemorate Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of the Shu Han Dynasty. It is the earliest Wuhou Temple built in China and the only one constructed by imperial decree. It truly deserves the title of "The First Wuhou Temple Under Heaven." I bought a combined ticket to see Ma Chao's tomb, but the "Wuhou Temple Exhibition Hall" was surprisingly impressive and definitely worth checking out. Zhuge Ancient Town is also worth a visit.

During the stroll, I seem to travel through time and space and feel the weight of history. The Lovers Bridge not far away is a red cable bridge, which is across the green river, and the surrounding green mountains and trees are against each other, which is beautiful like a painting. Walk up the bridge, the breeze blows, the bridge sways gently, bringing a different kind of fun. Going forward, the mountain and river view stand there quietly. Was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful this experience was considering how many people it looked like were heading to the park from the train station. The walk to the Pandas is beautiful but steep. Our 4 year old managed with no issues. We unfortunately didn’t see any golden monkeys but Hengheng the panda was in. Was a great alternative to the crowds in Chengdu. I think it was our 4 year olds favourite day so far on our trip. To get there the bus leaves from both the bus and train stations. It costs 10 Yuan and we caught the 10.10 from the bus station but there is a 7.30 bus. We were also told the bus didn’t return till 5 but we caught the bus at 1.15.
