sam733Ibaraki is a surprising spot. With clear skies and the peak season for pink lilies, it's packed with visitors and the scenery is stunning. It's definitely worth a visit, and even relaxing at the beachside cafe is a must-see if you're in Ibaraki!

西等记忆You can tell from the museum logo that sharks are the top attraction. There are many species, some fierce and some cute... Sunfish are also a highlight, and the sardine school is spectacular. I don't quite understand why Japanese aquariums like to keep marine animals such as dolphins. Why... There are also many huge specimens in the museum, including sunfish, sharks and whales. It seems that they are all caught by the fixed nets of Hitachi City next door. Please be careful when passing by the sea.

Haru_aufgussI'm a Kashima Antlers supporter so I sometimes drop by before a game. The vast grounds are lined with a path full of nature, there are deer, and if you go to the back there is a pond and a teahouse where you can eat Mitarai dango. The air is clean and it's a power spot. If you're a J.League supporter and you're coming to Kashima Stadium, be sure to also visit Kashima Shrine 🙆♀️

Bart SimpsonsOarai Fukuroda Falls: A famous waterfall in Fukuroda, Ogo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It is 120 meters high and 73 meters wide. It is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan, along with Nachi Falls in Wakayama and Kegon Falls in Tochigi Prefecture. In addition to the icefall, the limited-time night lighting is also quite gorgeous and photogenic. There is also a lovers' sanctuary on the side of the passage, and there is even a shrine at the end of the aisle. Combined with the night lighting, it is quite charming.

sam733The world's tallest bronze standing Buddha, look up! Take the Joban Line from Mito Station and then the East Exit bus. Buses run infrequently, so be sure to check the return time. You can also ask the ticket window to call a taxi to Ushiku Station!
