sunny_mjKizilsu Glacier Park (Oyitak Glacier Park) is located in the western mountainous area of Oyitak Town, Akto County, Xinjiang, situated on the Pamir Plateau. It boasts a 2804-meter-high modern glacier, originating from the 6678-meter-high Aylanish Snow Mountain. After a 30-kilometer drive from G314 onto the county road, passing through the Red Stone Canyon, the snow-capped mountains gradually come into view. Riding a tall horse, you finally arrive at the foot of the glacier. The park is covered with extremely high levels of virgin forest, including spruce and juniper, somewhat resembling the Alps.
