Daxiangguo Temple, formerly known as Jianguo Temple, is located in the west section of Free Road, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It is a famous Buddhist monastery in China. Daxiangguo Temple was built in Beiqi Tianbao six years (555), Tang Dynasty Yanhe first year (712), Tang Yuzong because of its commemoration by Xiang Wang ascended the throne, giving the name Daxiangguo Temple. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Xiangguo Temple was revered by the Royal Family and was expanded many times.
