Nevertheless, we burned many calories carrying the youngest one around the gardens while we dragged the rest behind us on a frosty cold morning. 😬 Tips: the map was not accurate and made us quite confused. audio guides not helpful as there were English translations on the boards for most areas. What a peaceful way to start the morning. We entered the shrine at around 9am and its was still relatively quiet. It was way bigger than we thought so plenty to explore. Our favourite was the bonsai trees section

During winter, everything was freezing and the cold made it a bit tough to enjoy everything fully. There wasn’t much to see or do due to the weather. However, I can definitely see myself coming back during a different season to experience it at its best!
