Anonymous userHotel is conveniently located 5-10mins walk away from back mountain bus station and surrounded by many eateries and convenience shops. Room was big, bed was extremely comfortable, and they gave quality toiletries. There was even floor heater to keep the room warm. There was free home style daily breakfast and free hotspring. Was told hotel has their own water supply from hotspring. Staffs were very friendly. They introduced a tour guide at RMB 500 for a day trip to climb the mountain with my group of 7 pax. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helped us saved a lot of time and energy to avoid climbing the most tedious trail, and brought us to the scenic trail.

洋洋的种草日记@### **Jiuhua Mountain Review: The perfect integration of Buddhist holy places and natural wonders** Jiuhua Mountain, one of the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism, is located in Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, famous for the "Lotus Buddha Country". This is not only a Taoist site for Tibetan Bodhisattvas, but also a tourist attraction integrating religious culture, natural scenery and geological wonders. #### **1. Buddhist culture has a deep heritage** Jiuhua Mountain has become a Buddhist holy place since the Tang Dynasty when Prince Jin Qiaojue of Silla practiced here as a Buddha. There are 99 existing temples on the mountain, of which **Huacheng Temple ** (Kaishan Zu Temple), **Bodhisattva Temple ** (Honoring the true body of the Tibetan Bodhisattva), **Hundred Years Palace ** (Inadequate Master's Body) and so on. The incense is full, and the believers are endless, especially on the 30th July of the Lunar Calendar (Birthday of the Tibetan Bodhisattva), and there are many pilgrims. The atmosphere is solemn. #### **2. Natural scenery is magnificent** Jiuhua Mountain main peak** Shiwangfeng** is 1342 meters above sea level, the mountain is steep, the strange peaks are full of rocks, and the sea of clouds, sunrise, sunset and other sky elephant wonders are frequent. The main attractions include: -** rooftop scenic spot**: climb to the top to overlook the mountains, and the sea of clouds is like a fairyland. - **Huatai Scenic Area**: famous for its strange pine stones and alpine rhododendrons, suitable for hiking photography. - **Liyuan Bamboo Sea**: 10,000 mu of bamboo forest, quiet and quiet, is a summer resort. #### **3. Rich travel experience** - **Cableway convenience**: Rooftop, Huatai, and Baisui Palace have cableway, saving physical strength. - **Vegetarian culture**: Jiuhua Street provides special vegetarian dishes such as wild vegetable cakes and Jiuhua Huangjing soup. - **Special activities**: such as Labashi Congee, Temple Fair, etc., so that tourists can feel Buddhist folk customs. #### **4. Commercialization and pit avoidance suggestions** Jiuhua Mountain is more commercialized, and some temples have incense sales phenomenon. It is recommended: - buy tickets in advance on official channels (160 yuan in peak season, 140 yuan in off-season). - Avoid the first, 15th and holidays, and reduce queue time. - Self-driving tourists pay attention to the need to transfer to the scenic bus to go up the mountain during peak season. #### **5. Summary** Jiuhua Mountain has the beauty of religious culture and nature, suitable for: ✅ **Buddhist believers**Pilgrimage praying for blessings and feeling Zen. ✅ **Nature lovers**Climbing and watching the scenery and enjoying the sea of clouds and pine. ✅ **Cultural Traveler** Visit the ancient temple and experience Huizhou architecture. If there is enough time, it is recommended to visit 2-3 Tianjin In-depth Tour, with the mountain **Dayuan Cultural Park ** (99 meters of Tibetan holy statue) better.

Good FelixLingshan Ancient Temple is well worth a visit. Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes, as most of the scenic area requires walking, and some attractions require a short hike to reach. Be prepared for this.

Sophita23It's a very large natural area with lots of historical and cultural relics to see. One of the best viewing spots from which to enjoy the lake is Leifeng Pagoda. Access is very convenient and the views are amazing. It's a very popular spot so try to avoid holidays.

QiaofenWe enjoyed ourselves thoroughly during these 2 nights stay in Hongcun. The scenery at the Moon Lake and South Lake were fabulous. Love the trendy cafes and shops there too.

_We***98The scenery of Qiandao Lake is magnificent, the lake is clear, the cruise experience is pleasant, and the fish head soup is delicious. However, the scenic spots are scattered and the traffic is time-consuming, and some islands are commercialized. It is more suitable for self-driving or holiday-style play, and the experience is better to avoid the peak season.

Anonymous userGreat show, and it can be a wonderful day to spend with families. However, NPCs only appear at certain times, and we didn’t see any NPCs interacting with us to exchange the ancient money. It was too crowded with many group tours, which affected the overall visiting experience. Some people performed the 'Train to Busan' show while attempting to enter the theatre.

julycallaWe live in Hongcun and come to Xidi today. I can't help but compare the two attractions: 1. The drone can scan the QR code at the Xidi ticket office to report (Hongcun is not allowed to fly). 2. We are foreign tourists, the staff is very enthusiastic, and thank us for coming to Xidi for sightseeing. 3. Xidi's buildings are very well preserved, commercialization is not as serious as Hongcun, and there are beautiful scenery at every corner. It has not been finished for a long time. 4. There is an observation deck at one end of Xidi's rice field, overlooking the entire Xidi. Very suitable for drone lifting. 5. Xidi is very quiet and leisurely, suitable for slowly strolling, unlike Hongcun, which is all travel photography. 6. We dine in millet coffee, the environment is beautiful, and the dishes are good. In Hongcun Village, I can't find a simple meal that I can eat / Western food.
