Jiuzhaigou is beautiful but maybe because we visited during winter in mid December and there was not much snow, so the scenery is not as beautiful as we seen on social media. After 3 or 4 lakes, honestly all looks same. We traveled almost 5 hours from Chengdu by HSR and bus, and stayed overnight. It’s a tired journey.

A very exotic historical project. Very nice scenery and environment to walk and stroll. However, there are many commercial tour guides touting for their service at the entrance. Otherwise, the environment is tremendous to relax for a holiday

What a peaceful way to start the morning. We entered the shrine at around 9am and its was still relatively quiet. It was way bigger than we thought so plenty to explore. Our favourite was the bonsai trees section

Worth the visit i walk up and down took me 5h doing the loops. Worth the journey with all the temple.

less crowded and icy landscape. Should take cable car to go up (it was working on the day I visited in December winter) and walk for 3.2km to the top. This route has a beautiful viewing platform.
