M28***06The Nanji Islands are recognized by National Geographic as one of China's ten most beautiful islands. Visiting the islands during the peak National Day holiday season is a good idea. Here are some tips: Book your round-trip ferry tickets early to have a variety of options. Once you've secured your ferry tickets, book accommodations early. Accommodation is limited and can be very tight due to the high number of people. During National Day, it's almost always fully booked, and room rates are quite high, two or three times higher than normal. The island's three most important attractions are Dasha'ao Beach, Sanpanwei, and the aquarium, so it's best to choose one of these three for convenient accommodation. Food is a bit pricey on the island, with vegetarian dishes generally around 30 yuan per serving and seafood dishes around 80 yuan. Large yellow croaker is the most expensive, costing over 100 or 200 yuan per head in many places. Our meal on the islands during National Day was generally over 100 yuan per person, and while the food wasn't great, the seafood was fresh and passable. The scenery is truly stunning, with a vibrant blue sea and beaches, just like the beautiful beaches and seas of Sanya, Hainan. It's truly stunning. However, the boat ride takes two hours each way, and I vomited a lot. Next time, I'll probably wait for a helicopter to arrive; the waves are so strong that I can't handle such a long boat ride.
