风雨做的梦想曲会差Last month, I was short on time when I visited Shandong, so I only visited the Yunmeng Scenic Area within the Mengshan Scenic Area. This time, I was in Shandong again for business, so I looked up the route. The Guimeng Scenic Area is conveniently located on the way from Boshan to Linyi (less than an hour and a half drive), so I finally got to check in at the Guimeng Scenic Area—no regrets. Parking Lot No. 2 is quite large, and Guimeng Scenic Area is very popular this season. There aren't many empty spaces, but I arrived at noon and still found a spot. From the parking lot, it's a four or five minute walk to the Visitor Center. Many people complain that the ticket gate is a kilometer away from the Visitor Center, which is inconvenient. However, if you take the sightseeing bus, it's right behind the Visitor Center, and the bus stop at the top of the mountain is only five minutes from the top of Guimeng. It's still quite convenient. Honestly, the Guimeng Scenic Area isn't ideal for hiking entirely on foot, as most of it is road-based. The best way to hike, especially on the uphill sections, is to half-bend and slowly ascend. This, however, is more about working your back than your feet, and you also have to be wary of the sightseeing buses going up and down the mountain, making it unsafe. Therefore, the best route is to: [The following appears unrelated to the preceding text:] The sightseeing bus stop at the bottom of the mountain (just behind the visitor center. Those who purchase a ticket and a sightseeing bus ticket combination can check in at the stop. Those with a QR code only need to purchase a sightseeing bus ticket combination and also check in at the stop) and get off at the summit stop (those who prefer to hike can get off at the Dongtianmen stop, or take the forest plank path to the summit). The summit viewpoint is at the summit. Observation Deck (the second photo, it’s beautiful to take photos and check in here) ~ Xiaoluting ~ Mengshan Mountain (the highest natural point) ~ Yuhuang Pavilion (the highest man-made point, and there are scheduled performances on the platform below the Yuhuang Pavilion, which I happened to catch this time) ~ Back to the observation deck ~ Walk towards the Shoushou Terrace (There are two routes to take, the Shoushou Plank Road and the Tianshou Grand Canyon. I recommend taking the Grand Canyon. The scenery is good and you can see many rock landscapes on the top of the mountain. Although the last photo is not introduced, it looks like a newborn elephant; the Shoushou Plank Road is similar to the cliff plank road in Shenxianju. It is relatively stable and not interesting enough. It is suitable for the elderly and families with children. Don’t take the Shoushou Cableway, because it takes only about ten minutes from the Grand Canyon to the Shoushou Terrace. The return journey is about the same time (the route is not difficult, but the Baishou Plank Road is faster). (The Baishou Terrace is the best spot to see the Mengshan Immortal Monk. The Mengshan Immortal Monk is truly spectacular and the highlight of the Guimeng Scenic Area). (The tour ends at the observation deck and rests.) (The bus stops at the summit and arrives at the Visitor Center.) The tour takes about three to four hours. If you get off at the Dongtianmen stop and climb the mountain, expect to spend an extra half an hour. As for rafting and the glass plank road, I don't recommend them; they're not worth the price. Overall, the Guimeng Scenic Area is definitely worth a visit and worth returning to. (The horse) The sightseeing bus ride up and down the mountain is also... Scenic spots:
