Milan's Castello Sforza, a stunning example of 15th-century architecture, boasts an art collection spanning the Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical periods. Compared to other castles, its exhibitions are exceptionally neat and organized. The dome, designed by Leonardo da Vinci, is currently undergoing restoration. The museum also boasts a treasure trove of art, housing precious oil and tempera paintings by Renaissance masters such as Lippi, as well as a rich collection of violins, gold, silver, ironwork, jewelry, furniture, ceramics, and glass.
