petitedragonTaining Jiulongtan Scenic Area: There are two bamboo rafting options in Changxing Village: Jiulongtan and Shangqingxi. The Jiulongtan visit is a bit short, with nearly an hour of rafting followed by about half an hour walking back to the ferry station along the lakeside boardwalk. The ticket includes a glass walkway, but since it involves hiking, we skipped it [facepalm]. Taking a bamboo raft through a kilometer-long "skyline" on the water, and viewing the Danxia landform that integrates lake, stream, mountains, and valleys, is quite worthwhile. Mia_136A tour experience that exceeded expectations! The cave's rocks were smooth as jade, and the stalactites and stalagmites were in various shapes and sizes. The rooster-crest rock, the magic brush of Ma Liang, and the pillar reaching the sky were particularly lifelike. Because there were fewer people at the afternoon attractions, the guide's explanations were especially thorough and detailed. A fantastic experience!

M52***71Essentially, it's a mountain hike interspersed with a narrow gorge. The mountain itself is easy to climb, with some scenic views, and the gorge is breathtaking with excellent annotations. It's worth recommending. However, I feel it might not be suitable for winter when you're wearing many layers.
