Anonymous userThe Acropolis of Athens is one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world, and visiting it feels like stepping directly into the heart of ancient civilization. It’s not just a collection of ruins—it’s a powerful symbol of classical Greece, democracy, philosophy, and architectural brilliance.

SHARMIN KThis is a 6 in Greece, Athens. If you have the time I suggest and highly recommend for you to visit this place. This museum is worth visiting and spending money on. Tip: Book early in the day as queues can be long in summer months! Expect to spend at least 1/2 a day in the museum.

Sagwa_RyungA spectacular sunset view that attracts tourists from all over the world. The best place to watch the sunset is from Oia Castle or the cliff edge.

sculptorThe Temple of Olympia Zeus is a formerly huge temple in the heart of Athens, the Greek capital. Construction began during the reign of the Athens despots in the 6th century BC, who had envisioned the construction of the world's greatest temple in ancient times, but it was not completed until about 638 years after the Roman emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD. During the Roman period, the temple consisted of 104 giant pillars, known as the largest temple in Greece and one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world. The temple’s glory was short-lived and abandoned about a century after the castle was built. In the centuries since the fall of the Roman Empire, construction materials were extensively excavated for construction projects elsewhere in the city. Nevertheless, a large portion of the temple is preserved today, especially the sixteen of the original giant pillars, and remains part of a very important archaeological site in Greece.

M49***55Since the 5th century AD, monks have come to the mountains to practice. After hundreds and thousands of years of unremitting efforts, there were more than 20 monasteries in Meteora. With the hardships of the years, only six remain.

SHARMIN KThis is a must-see event of the change of guards every morning at 8 am. This is really a spectacular galore of the past & that is most exciting to foreign visitors. It's normally packed with bus loads of tourists and foreigners alike, so be ready for crowds, all trying to capture the best photo and video angle of the 'guards' change. The guards in full ancient military costumes are really mesmerising!

晨曦骄阳环球记I was completely attracted by "Descendants of the Sun 🌞". Shipwreck Bay, located in Zakynthos, Greece, is known as the paradise island. In 1983, the smuggling ship Panagiotis ran aground here while transporting cigarettes, so it was named "Shipwreck Bay". Tips: The best viewing time is from 11 am to 2 pm on the cliff of the observation deck. When looking for angles to take pictures here, be sure to pay attention to safety!
