Anonymous userA UNESCO World Heritage site, the Dazu complex of Buddhist cave carvings provides a fascinating but exhausting (so many steps) excursion from Chongqing, approximately 90 minutes drive. We were very lucky as we booked to share a mini bus but ended up with a private car just for us with an extremely friendly, helpful and careful driver. As we're both over 65, we got free entry although we had to pay Y20 each for the site shuttle bus. A trip that takes some effort but is certainly worth it.

温暖super[View] Ciqikou is really super charming! Entering the ancient town, the bluestone road is winding, and the Ming and Qing style buildings on both sides are scattered and full of Bayan style. The special snacks such as Chen Mahua and Mao Xuewang on the street are full of aroma and authentic taste. [Fun] Baolun Temple is solemn and solemn, with ancient ginkgo branches and leaves. You can also order a cup of tea in the teahouse, watch a Sichuan drama change face, and feel the leisure of old Chongqing. It is lively during the day, and the lights at night are another beautiful scenery. It is worth punching in!

天使的小猴子Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is the most prosperous commercial center in Chongqing, and the crowds are still flowing under the hot sun. There are many high-rise buildings, neon flashing, and the modern business district blends with the old Chongqing style. The shops on both sides of the pedestrian street are dense, the food is fragrant, and special snacks such as hot pot and small noodles attract tourists to stop. Jiefangbei stands tall and witness the history of the mountain city. The summer heat wave is rolling, but the sunshade, cold drinks shops and shopping mall air conditioning provide a cool for pedestrians. When night falls, the lights are shining and the night market is noisy, showing the unique vitality of the "fireplace" Chongqing.
